The day went by like clockwork. Everyone had done everything, wigh the exception of Patton whose work would never be finished unless he retired from his job. That wouldn't happen for a while now.

Patton felt the cold metal of the necklace on his collarbone as he collected all the paper and tidied everything after all the kids had left the classroom. He'd almost forgotten about it. It almost basically became apart of him at this point.

Today....today is the day he'll give it to Logan. He'd waited so long. So had Logan.

"Are we going to see Logan today?" Janus asked from the back of the classroom as he tidied all of the paper he was using for his homework.

As he put the homework back into his bag, Patton closed his computer nodding with a delighted smile. "Of course we are,"

After they picked up Yvette from her classroom, the three of them got into Patton's (it's actually Logan's but Patton drives it nowerdays) and left to go to visit Logan in the hospital.

As soon as the three got to Logan's room, the three immediately wrapped Logan in a cuddle pile. The three of them really loved him, by like, an unhoky ammount. An enormous ammount.

The room was still a bright white and the lights were colder than the radiator. Really, the hospital sucked ass. Plus the food only looked nimbled, reasonable, because, have you ever eaten hospital food? It's apparently supposed to be good, but it sucks even more.

"M-morn...morning," Logan muttered. Today he had his glasses on. A pair of crutches were placed by his bed and he was attached to less things, what was left was some painkillers and the heart monitor. Though it wasn't really needed now.

He looked better than before. Much better than before.

A smile that never faultered grew upon Patton's face with fresh tears of happiness. He remembered the first time he had seen Logan in the hospital. He'd been completely wrapped in bandages and covered in cuts and bruises, he honestly couldn't stop crying.

"Daaaaaad, it's the afternoon silly," Yvette told him as she sat on his bed with Janus next to her, chuckling lightly as to not move the bandages on his face and ears.

Logan smirked kindly as he looked at the two kids, as his eyes landed on Janus, his eyebrows furrowed as he squinted slightly at the teen, "What...ha-happened?" He shakily pointed at Janus, sitting up slightly.

Softly laughing, Janus grabbed Logan's hand and smiled, looking him in the eyes. A shiver ran down Logan's back as he felt Janus' eyes on his face. "It was just an accident that happened to hit my scar," He told Logan, with a big smile as his eye was closed as he spoke, "It's alright,"

Looking directly into Janus' eye, Logan reluctantly nodded, not feeling as if there was an option to pry into it.

As Janus placed Logan's hand right by his side, the teen gave Logan another smile.

Sighing as if it was the first breath he had ever breathed, he slowly grabbed a piece of paper that was on the bed side cupboard, most of his stuff was in there (cards, clothes ect). Giving it to Patton, he seemed happier.

Patton opened the piece of paper. It was from the hospital, a report for Logan's current physical condition.

"What does it say?" Janus asked.

If he smiled any wider his skin would rip apart, shaking uncontrollably, he flapped the paper over to Janus so the teen could read it out, hopefully not pausing in the middle to freak out.

"Alright...." Janus said, holding out the paper in front of his face, "Mr Logan Lovell is now permitted to leave, a signature is required by Mr Lovell, but other than that, he is able to leave. Though, it is not reccomended to sign out of hospital if you don't have another member of your household, or if that member is a child or elder."

Grabbing the piece of paper from the top of Janus' hand, Yvette read over it again, well, the words she knew anyway, other than that, she pieced the rest together without a problem.

"GASSSSSPPPPPPPP!"

Throwing the paper in the air, Yvette jumped up and down, up and down, and once again, up and down. "YOU CAN COME HOME DAD!" She cheered at Logan as he smiled gently at his daughter.

"Yes...I can..." Logan murrured quietly, his voice slightly raspy and weak.

The three others beamed with smiles of sunshine with a sprinkle of happy rain from their cloudy eyes. It was a momentous occasion. They finally got their Logan back, or rather, will have their Logan back, really soon as well. Sooner than they expected, but as soon as they wanted, or rather later.

"Wait...." Janus mumbled, "Can you even sign?" He questioned, gazing sincerly back at Logan who was quite joyously sitting, watching the others delightful.

The man nodded at Janus, "I...ca-an,"

Smirking with the right side of his face, Janus looked the happiest Logan had ever seen the boy ever since they met. Well, apart from the first flower Janus had taken to the shop, he'd never seen a boy happier to receive a plant. Especially a flower.

He remembered the time he sent Janus home with the flower, the boy was as happy as a child on their first day of school. Since then, Logan had helped with supplies for the plant, it didn't cost much, but it was worth it to see a smile upon that poor boys face. It was a smile you couldn't help but smile back at.

As Yvette packed up Logan's clothes and as Logan got changed, with assistance from Patton since Logan still struggled with movement. Janus sat and helped sort out the room, clear it up a bit and pack other things away into a bag (The three had gone back home to grab a bag since there wasn't enough room in the bag Logan already had).

"I can't wait till dad gets home!" Yvette cheered as she shoved the clothes into the bag messily as Janus tried to fold the clothes so it'd be tidier; it didn't work by the way.

"Me too..." Janus replied, still folding the clothes even though it didn't have any impact on how Yvette packed the bag. "I'm glad Logan will be back, I've missed him,"

Everyone didn't question why Janus was there, or why Janus was here, or who Janus was. Inside, Janus was slightly thankful for that, he didn't want people prying. He didn't want people being so close, being so personal with him. He didn't know how to be close with people. He was glad they didn't ask about anything, he was glad they didn't care that much to be curious.

Hobbling out of the bathroom with Patton following behind him with Logan's pyjama's drapped over his arms, Logan came back. He'd already signed his way out, all he had to do was leave and finally go home after all this time.

"Janus..."

"Yeah?" Janus' ear twitched as he snapped his head back to face Logan.

Sitting back on the bed and putting his crutches to his side, Logan continued, "I'll be staying in Patton's room....so if you want...you can continue staying in my room," Janus mouth opened, but no words came out of Janus' mouth, but a nod was all the words he needed, even if it wasn't even one, "Tho-though I'll need my clothes,"

Everyone chuckled as Yvette finished packing things in the bag with her elbow, the bag was basically stuffed. When they open it at home, it'll probaly feel like taking a satisfying breath and probaly, it'll explode with things.

"Let's go!" Yvette told the group.

"Time to get you home Lo,"
