"Janus, I'm going out," Logan told him, Janus sitting awkwardly on the sofa, most likely texting Remus with his legs dangling over the back of the sofa. "Do you want to come?" He asked peaking over the sofa as Janus turned his phone off to listen.
Placing the phone on his chest, Janus asked: "Where are you going anyways?" Begining to sit up the right way, the slight crack of his knuckles made him cringe.
"Home depot, I thought we could spruce the place up with some plants," Logan told him, going to put his shoes on after he told him his plans for the trip.
He wore a warm brown shirt tucked in to his bottoms and just had a jacket on over that along with some black jeans. His keys were in his left jean pocket and his wallet in his right, a few plastic bags were in his jacket pocket so they could carry things. Though it probably won't help that much due to the nature of plants as a whole. Either way, Logan thought to bring them just in case they needed them.
"Spruce? Really?" Janus groaned, "You and Patton really are made for each other," He moaned, standing up to go join Logan to put his shoes on. Honestly, if Logan still had the flower shop, he would absolutely keep working there. He loved that shop. If Remus wasn't his soulmate, it would be that shop, and honestly, Logan would probably say the same.
Janus was just wearing what he usually wears. A yellow shirt tucked into a long black skirt that he had made in design and technology a while back. Underneath, he wore some shorts that he shoved his phone into and some lemon flavoured boiled sweet. He was rather fond of those kind.
After the two put on their shoes, Janus took Logan's keys and they left to go to Home depot to buy just a few plants for the apartment.
~~~
They lied.
It wasn't just a few plants they had obtained. It was way more than just a few. They could basically make the apartment a forest with these.
Several succulents for any window sill in the house, a spider plant that went on the end table in the living room, an areca palm that went in the corner of the room right by the stairs, potted bamboo in another corner, golden pothos on the end of the breakfast bar closest to the wall, some aloe vera beside it as well, a chinese evergreen in the corner of the kitchen on the side, and on the floor in the kitchen rhapis palm.
That wasn't even all of it: a peace lily had found itself onto Logan's bedside table, as well as devil's ivy which was placed neatly by the wardrobe. Even Yvette had a succulent in her room.
Now Janus' room was basically just the garden of Eden now. A zanzibar gem, an algaonema, an anthurium, a zamioculcas zamfolia, some cacti that were already flowering, a pilea plant, a snake plant, a split leaf philodenron. But that wasn't even all of them.
Let's just say, Patton was more that shocked when he came home from grocerys shopping. Though, as long as Janus and Logan looked after all the plants (and they would) they could keep them.
Although the one succulent in Yvette's room was soon her responibilty. Sort of like a pet. It even had a name: Oli.
