Patton woke up with a stirr, rolling over softly, wrapping himself ever so slowly in his blanket. He grabbed out, hugging something, as he suggled gently into it. A familar homely scent filled his mind of colours of pink, red, magenta and white. The rising and falling of his chest breathed againest the pillow, tickling him with a light finger.
A warm hand placed itself onto his cheek, keeping him joyous, his eyes flickered open as the light shone in. It was early. The glare of the sun blinded him with a single touch but comforted him with it's heat.
"Good morning Lo..." Patton muttered quietly, "I had this terrible nightmare last night..."
"You almost died, I felt so horrible Lo," He mumbled into the fluffy pillow.
He shot up, yawning while stretching his arms right out, he rubbed his eyes with his arms, "Promise you'll never do that..."
"Oh."
He chuckled sadly, "I feel a little silly now,"
A cry of help coughed out of his mouthas tears screamed down his cheeks sobbing helplessly as he placed his hands over himself. He was too loud. He fell backwards, balling back into himself, barely even being able to get out of bed. Even just a glace at his skin reminded him of what happened to Logan and the accident.
He gasped for air thoroughly struggling to grasp onto every one of them with his slippery hands, he always seemed to let things go so easily. His heart skipped a beat, missing it's missing piece.
"Come on Patton, we gotta see Log... him today, we promised him," He muttered to himself wiping his drenched face, the dryness didn't last long, neither did his composure. But that was fine.
He just needed to see Logan.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
"Dad..." Yvette said from the other side of the door, sounding like she had a large weight above her head, one would call it guilt, "I hope you don't mind but..."
She creacked the door open. Her small round face peered into the room, red as a strawberry and sad like a rain cloud. Of course she missed Logan too. "I called Uncle Roman and Remus to come over..." She mumbled.
"Mornin' sunshine," Roman introduced himself, sliding past Yvette nicely with two bags in his arms, "I heard some clouds were blocking your light,"
"Roman?" Patton squinted at the figure looming over him. Really it look slightly worrying if he didn't know it was Roman.
Roman plopped himself on Patton's bed, right onto of Patton legs. Literally he could not move. He patted a space next to him for Yvette to join them as Remus stood in the hallway watching.
"Me and Remus will be staying here for a while," Roman told them, "I know how hard this will be, and I don't want you starving or smelling less than beautiful when you go see the love of your gosh darn life," Roman had grabbed Patton's glasses and descided to wear them.
He turned to Yvette with a sympathetic smile, "And young maiden, everything will be fine," He offered a hug for her from which she gladly accepted. A lone tear slid down her cheek as she fought back a sob.
He smelt like lavander.
Patton lent up with all of his might and wrapped his arms around the two of them. In the corner of anyone's eyes, you could see a small flicker of a smile flash upon Remus' face. He sighed contently as a final tear fell down his face and a smile trickled onto his face.
Roman patted their backs three times before they all let go, "I'll go make us all breakfast, go get dressed while I make it, then after we'll go visitour favourite nerd," Roman told them, "Anything specific you guys want?"
