Life
I need to start to find a part-time job to have money for next school year. I already told Tryne about this, he was not against it at all. Gusto ko nga sana na sa cafe na lang ulit ako kung saan ako nagtrabaho last year pero mukhang hindi sila tumatanggap ng part-time this year.
So I decided to search on the internet. You can even find a job and apply there.
I saw that Liverary was on hire, the cafe with a library that Tryne and I visited last time.
"Tryne, I'm gonna leave now," I said and kissed his cheeks. He flinched a little like he didn't expect my sudden move. He was currently sitting on the couch while watching. His coffee was placed on the table.
"Hey!" He looked at me in shock, caressing his face.
"You didn't like that?" I teased.
"I love it!" He smiled widely. "I'm going to give you a ride. Wait here," sabi niya at lumakad papuntang kusina. He drops his coffee cup in the sink.
"Where are we going?" He asked while giving my head kisses.
"I'm going to apply in the Liverary for a part-time job. I need to work for money." I smiled widely at him. He smiled too, looking so proud of me.
I opened his car door and sit comfortably in the shotgun seat.
I checked it for the last time para malaman ko kung may kulang ba sa mga papers.
"I'll wait for you."
"No. You should go now." He still needs to work on their company. Sinabi niya kanina sa akin kung ano ang kondisyon ng Mama niya, she wants him to work at their business while he was on a school break. He said that he will be the one who will inherit their business and he is going to practice his skills as early as possible.
"You sure?" He asked. I nodded and smiled at him to convince him. He should go now, hindi ko rin kasi alam kung anong oras ako mayayari sa interview.
"Bye then," he said.
I opened the door and wave my hands to bid goodbye to him.
"Ingat!" I said before closing the door.
I was currently sitting in front of the mid-thirties lady, binabasa niya ngayon ang mga papel na dala ko.
"Thank you. We will call you later," sabi nung babaeng nag interview sa akin. I gave her a sweet smile before standing up. I also told her my thank you before leaving the room.
I let my hand pass through the books on the nearest shelf. There's a black blanket on her lap, her coffee was placed on her side. Nakakunot ang kaniyang noo habang nagbabasa. She sipped on her coffee slowly as she turns the book pages.
She smiled at me, her eyes were also smiling. And like the last time I saw her, I didn't know what to do. I was torn... so torn if I am going to smile back or just go and ignore her.
