Cher's P.O.V. || EDITED

I awkwardly followed him up to his bedroom which is surprisingly clean. I actually thought it'd be messy but nope, it's really clean. There's no clothes on the floor, nothing. It's practically spotless.

"Why are you helping me?" he blurted out as he sat on the edge of his bed.

I furrowed my eyebrows together and looked at him in confusion. "What do you mean? I like helping people, I don't have a problem with it."

"I know that I meant why are you helping me? Like I used to bully you everyday in 8th grade, and now you're helping me?"

"I'm helping you because it's not right to just let you fail after something you did two years ago," I shrugged. "I don't hold grudges, I'm not tripping over the past. That was two years ago, almost three now."

He nodded his head and pulled out his books.

"Ugh," Jack groaned. "I am so bored, lets do something fun! This studying shit is lame as fuck."

I sighed, "Jack we have to keep studying. You're going to fail this school year if you don't get your grades up."

"Ooh how about we play truth or dare?" he smirks, ignoring my last comment completely.

"Uh," I reply. "I don't know. I'm here to help you study, not play some childish game."

"Oh c'mon," he smirked. "It'll be fun."

I sighed, giving in. "Fine, but we have to get back to studying right after."

He got up from his bed and sat across from me. "Alright truth or dare?"

"Truth," I shrug. I can't believe we were actually sitting here playing truth or dare like kids in middle school.

He sat there for a minute thinking. "Ah okay I got one," he smiled. "Don't be offended by my question, but is it true you're a virgin?"

"No," I replied blankly.

"Wait really?" he almost yelled. I nodded my head yes. "I thought you'd be a virgin."

I wasn't really offended, everyone thinks I'd be a virgin but I'm not. I lost my virginity last year to my ex-boyfriend. We were dating for a year and I decided I was ready. He had to move over the summer though so we had to break up.

Today with Jack wasn't that bad. He was still very rude, but not as rude. "Hey," my sister said as took I seat at the dinner table. Wow, I haven't seen her in a while. I kind of forgot I had a sister to be honest.

"Hey," I reply.

"How did it go?" my mom smiled. "Was he nice?"

"It was fine," I shrug. "He wasn't as rude as usual."

I finished my dinner and I brought my plate to the sink. I rinsed it off and stuck it in the dishwasher.

I quickly walked upstairs and into my bedroom. After a long day, I just want to go to sleep.
