DRACO'S POINT OF VIEW

When I had cut Goyle off and cornered him, he set the carpet on fire. I panicked, looking for an exit. "DRACO! THE SHELVES!" Blaise yelled. I saw him climbing up the tall shelves that were placed so conveniently next to us. We reached the top, but the fire was spreading. Suddenly, my hand was pulled and I was being lifted out of air. I looked up and saw Potter. Blaise was being hoisted up by Ron. I pulled myself on top of the broom. "THANKS POTTER!" I shouted. "DON'T MENTION IT!" He shouted back. We escaped the room just right before we were burnt to a crisp. I panted, regaining my breath. "Anything you need?" I asked. "Time. Can you hold them off in the courtyard?" He asked. I nodded, and Blaise and I ran to the courtyard.

NARRATORS POINT OF VIEW

The fighting was horrible. Warriors from both sides of the war died. Some in vain, and some in a love and a hope to rescue the world around them.

Draco and Blaise were fighting deatheaters in the courtyard. Saying it was difficult is making a molehill out of a mountain, or to say the least, putting it lightly. The Hogwarts army was outnumbered greatly by the deatheaters. It was hundreds against thousands, or in their case, two against seven. All of a sudden, people stopped fighting. They saw the half- giant Hagrid carrying a limp body. "HARRY POTTER IS DEAD!" Yelled Voldemort, laughing. "And now it is the time for you to join us.

DRACOS POINT OF VIEW

Harry Potter... dead... it can't be. Because that would mean that Y/N doesn't have a chance, and it can't be. It's funny. Even out of his arrogance and utter hatred towards each other, seeing him gone is devastating. That means we're all doomed. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt a hand grab me and pull me to the other side with the deatheaters. It was father. "Ah. Draco. My boy." Voldemort said, with a slightly disappointed look on his face. Suddenly, Harry rolled onto the ground. He was alive! That means- my Princess- this would all end soon!

But he was without a weapon. Without a wand. I ran over to the other side and joined the Hogwarts army, throwing my wand to him. "POTTER!" I shouted. He caught it and stood up. Then, a shout. "AVADA KEDAVRA!" Yelled Voldemort. Harry quickly shot expeliarmus, and the two spells collided. Neville then, slayed Nagini, his snake, who was the last horcrux. Voldemort, with his power plummeting, was overpowered from Harry. The red light blasted Voldemort, who's body turned into paper flakes and dissolved in the wind. Everyone cheered, and ran to hug Harry. Me? I had more important business.

I ran to the Great hall, where I promised to see Y/N after the war was over. "Y/N!" I called. I looked all over the room, and I couldn't find her. "D-Draco, thank goodness I've found you." Said a shaky voice behind me. I turned around, my heart beating in nervousness of who I might or might not see. It was Hermione. She ran into my arms and squeezed me tightly. She was sobbing. Tears blackened with dirt and ash stained her face. "Hi Hermione, what is it?" I asked her quietly. "Oh D- Draco. I- T-There's, I don't kn-know how to say it. I think you should s-see something." She said, stuttering with every word.

Following closely behind her, we walked down to the hospital wing. So many people were injured, they were just being treated on the ground. I saw so many familiar faces, lying still, eyes wide open, and skin as cold as ice. "Lupin and Tonks, Snape, Fred. I can't believe they're all gone." I said to myself. "Dr-Draco, I know you, and I know the first thing you're going to do is blame yourself. But you mustn't. No matter what." She said. She took my hand and gently led me to the end of the room.

There was a girl with Y/H/C hair on the floor, being treated my Madame Pomfrey. "Draco. Good. You're here." Madame said. "Wh- no. No. No. NO." I kneeled down to be closer to her. "Hey love." She chuckled faintly. Her face was pale, and the heat was leaving her body quickly. Her hands were clutching her stomach tightly. I moved them away carefully. "Y/N..." I started. There were several deep gashes in the middle of her stomach. Ones that looked as if they were created from claws. "Draco, I'm so sorry. She was injured long before she was brought here. She was fighting in the corridors. News had not yet reached that part of the castle that the war was over. Fenrir Greyback cut her right before she killed him. There's not much we can do."

"NO! THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING, some potion that can restore her blood. Yes! There is one! Please. Anything." I pleaded to Madame Pomfrey. "I'm sorry. Our potions ingredients were all destroyed during the war, and even if we did make a potion, the wound is already infected." She answered. "Draco. It's okay." She said quietly. She sat up, and I used my hands to support her back. "Princess, save your strength. Please." I begged through tears. She chuckled, and coughed hoarsely. "Even up to now you call me that name." She said, lying back down. "Come closer Draco." She said. I crouched closer to her.

"Please Darling. If you save your strength we might be able to get you to a hospital-"

"No. You heard what she said. I just need to tell you something. Please."

"Of- of course P-Princess."

"Draco, I will always love you. Okay? I'll always be with you, and I'll always love you. Even if you go on and love another girl. Especially then. Give her the world for me. Treat her like you did for me. I will love you if you marry her. If you have kids with her. I will love you if you live the life that we always wanted together, with her. Draco, and promise me this. Forget me."

"What? I- I would never forget you."

"Please. Forget me, and move on. I don't want you to hurt. I don't want you to shatter. I just want you to love and to be loved. And when you find that girl that makes your heart flutter and your cheeks flush just like I did, give her this." She held out her hand, balled in a fist, and handed me a small object. I took it in my hand, but I didn't look at it. "Princess..." I started, tears streaming down my face and onto her cheeks. "Draco, I love you." She said. I lifted her up and met her lips with mine. "I love you too Princess." I whispered. She smiled and stared into my eyes. "Goodbyes were never our th..."
