REFERENCE TO MENTAL DISORDER, WATING DISORDER, AND SELF HARM
YOUR POINT OF VIEW"Y/N, I don't think we should be friends anymore. He's behind bars because of you. He had to kill Dumbledore because you WERE SO GOD DAMN SELFISH AND COULDN'T PROTECT HIM WHEN HE NEEDED YOU!" Blaise yelled. I collapsed onto the floor and cried into my hands. No. I watched as Blaise spat at me and left. I've lost everything. Draco was a villain because of me, Blaise and all my friends hate me. I have nothing. No friends, no family. It's all gone up in smoke.
"Y/N! Y/N!" I heard a high voice say. I suddenly opened my eyes and sat up. I was lying in my bed. It was all a bad dream. "God fucking damn it. Could you keep it down? I'm still hung over you know." I said. "Sorry." Hermione replied. "You were shaking and crying for a while. Bad dream?" She asked. I just nodded in response. I didn't exactly want to elaborate. "Can you erm- get rid of the headache for me please?" I asked. She pulled out her wand "Remedium Suspendisse." She muttered. Instantly, my headache was gone.
I got changed into my robes, and got ready for the day. I walked down to the great hall with Hermione. When we entered the great hall, I was on my way to the Gryffindor table, when I stopped in my tracks. "Sorry Hermione. I need to sort some things out." I said. She nodded, and I turned to the Slytherin table.
I walked up behind Draco and sat next to him and next to Blaise. "Erm- Y/N, I thought you and Draco broke up..." said Blaise, uncertain. "Well just because we broke up doesn't mean we can't be friends. Does it?" I asked. I shot a smile at Draco. Draco turned red. "Uh- erm- well you- you- I mean we can." He stammered. I laughed from his awkwardness. "Thank god. I didn't want it to be like last time when I couldn't associate with you." Blaise said.
Just then, Dumbledore walked up to the podium. "Students! A few announcements. First, the forbidden forest is as always, forbidden. Second, Professor Slughorn will be taking over as our new potions master, and Professor Snape will be teaching your defence against the dark arts classes." Loud groans escaped the mouths of the students. "Third, due to a certain poltergeist, the Gryffindor dormitory is more or less unavailable, so students will be sharing a dorm with a partner from another house. Finally, we have a new student. Or rather, a returning student." He said. Everyone started to talk amongst themselves. "Who do you think it is?" I asked Blaise. He shrugged, and I turned to see the person as the two doors opened to the hall.
The girl walked to the Slytherin table, and I heard loud cheers, and some annoyed groans. "I'm back motherfuckers." She said. Pansy Parkinson.
Pansy walked up to me and tapped me on the shoulder. "Let's talk in the library." She said. I shot Draco and Blaise a concerned look as I stood up. I mean this was the girl who almost killed me! "Pansy, if you lay a finger on her, you're dead." Blaise said. "If you do anything I'll kill you." Warned Draco. She rolled her eyes while smiling. "Don't worry. We'll be back in a moment." She said. "Y/N... will you be okay?" Asked Draco. I bit my lip, thinking for a moment. "This is a volatile situation." I said before leaving the room with Pansy.
We sat down on a bench outside of the library. "I thought you were expelled." I said. "Oh. Well, I took therapy, and my parents had to pay a lot of money to get me back. Speaking of, I'm really sorry. I was just messed up, I don't know what I was thinking, all for a boy who didn't even like me. Truth is, I never hated you. I was just jealous." She replied. I chuckled. Softly. "Of what? An eating disorder? Depression? Self harm? Being an orphan?" I asked. She gave me a sorry expression. "I'm sorry Y/N. I heard about your mother in the paper. I really hope that we can just forget all that and start over." She said.
It really was a volatile situation, and an uncertain one. I had a choice to make.
"Okay." I smiled. "I'm Y/L/N. Y/N
Y/L/N." I said, hold out a hand. She took it and shook it. "Parkinson. Pansy Parkinson." She replied. We spent the rest of the day there, just talking.
"So you knew that Draco was a deatheater?" I asked. "Yeah. My parents work for the Dark Lord too." She replied. "Well you should also know that Draco and I broke up because of his task. He doesn't want me to date a murderer." I said. "Oh. I'm so sorry Y/N. That must hurt. But you would find comfort in knowing that I actually don't care for Draco anymore. I realized I never knew him. I was just falling for his looks."
"Wow Pansy. You really changed. I think I actually have a very available bachelor for you!" I said excitedly. "Really? That would be amazing." She replied.
DRACOS POINT OF VIEW
Y/N and Pansy ran into my dorm, arm in arm. "You're friends? When did that happen?" I asked, confused. "THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU DUMB ASS! WE NEED TO GET BLAISE A HOT NEW GIRLFRIEND LETS GO! WHERE IS HE?" She shouted excitedly. I couldn't help but smile. She was so cute. "Erm- he's in his dorm." I said. "Pansy! Go get him!" She said. Pansy left the room.
"So? Wanna share a dorm since you are currently dorm-less?" I asked. She nodded, smiled, and bellyflopped onto my bed. I smiled and shook my head before shoving her off the bed and picking up a book to read. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw her climb back on. I shoved her off again, keeping my eyes glued to my book. "Stop shoving me off!" She whined. "Not until you tell me what happened at the library." I replied.
