DRACOS POINT OF VIEW

When Y/N and I arrived to the manor, we were greeted immediately by mother. "Oh Y/N!" She said, hugging her. She turned to me. "Draco!" She exclaimed, hugging me. "From your letters I understand you broke up?" She whispered to me. I nodded my head discreetly. "Y/N, I'm very sorry to hear about your breakup, which makes me even more upset to be your bearer of bad news." Mother said. "We have most of the rooms being renovated this summer. I'm afraid you'll have to sleep in Draco's room. Lucius and I also won't be here this summer, we need to attend to some business which includes visiting my sister. Will you two be alright?" She asked.

"Of course. Thank you for letting me stay here." Y/N said. Mother nodded and father and her left shortly. We stepped inside the house and the house elves brought our stuff up to my room. "Hungry?" I asked, breaking the silence. "Oh yes. Starving." She responded. Only a couple seconds later, a house elf brought in some French onion soup. We sat on opposite sides of the table and ate in silence. After we ate, we made our way to the sink. I washed the dishes and she dried them. "You know Draco, there's no reason why we couldn't have a conversation without having one of us loose the bet." She said, in the middle of drying a large metal tray. She was deep in focus, careful not to make any eye contact.

I walked over carefully to her and came from behind. I gently put my hands on her waist. I saw her stop moving immediately and her breath hitch. I smirked to myself. "And why is that?" I whispered to her. "B-because we can act as normal friends." She said breathily. "Mmhm." I said quietly. I moved my hands around to her stomach and snaking them up towards her neck. She let out a quiet whimper, but silenced herself immediately. "By the sound of it, you want more than that." I whispered seductively. I ran my hands up to her neck and choked her gently, teasing her. "Fuck." She whispered. "Ready to give up?" I whispered to her. "Not a chance." She snarled. She walked away quickly.

YOUR POINT OF VIEW

I walked upstairs quickly. No doubt about it. Draco Malfoy was a fuckboy. He never really cared. All he wanted was sex.

I wandered into his room and sat at his desk. A large bag of which I recognized from Hogwarts was placed on it. A small black- covered book was spilling out of the bag, along with some pencils and his wand.

My curiosity got the best of me, and so I took the small book out of the bag. The cover read "Draco Malfoy". A diary? I couldn't help myself. I looked around the room and out the door to make sure Draco wasn't coming. I opened the book to the first page.

"Y/N and I finally got together today. Who knew the ball that my family threw annually would be of more importance? We kissed tonight. Under what seemed like a billion stars. It was raining that night too. The rain was falling heavily on us, causing our clothes to stick to us. When we kissed, it felt right. Something I had been waiting an eternity for, finally happened. Like the last piece of a jigsaw pressed into place. One day I'm going to give this book to her. So the rest of the pages will be formatted as letters to Princess."

My god. What happened? He seemed so in love with me back then. I guess people can change, and not only for the better, but also for the worse. I turned the page and kept reading.

"Dear Princess,
It would seem that I had lost my memory of you. I was just playing quidditch, then suddenly I was at Saint Mungo's. When you realized that I hadn't any memory of you, I saw a look of panic across your face. An expression that I would never like to see again. You felt familiar, but I just couldn't remember. Like a wall was in between us. I could hear your voice but not see you clearly. Then you kissed me. The feeling of your lips on mine burnt into my skin like engraving memory. Butterflies erupted into my stomach and the feeling was just too familiar to deny. I remembered you, and I had never loved you more than that moment.
                      Love,
                Draco Malfoy"

Reading about it brought tears to my eyes. Never would I have thought that I would read about this later. Every emotion seeping back into my veins like a poison.

I flipped hundreds more pages until I landed on the most recent one.

"I FUCKING HATE MYSELF! I made a huge mistake. I kissed Astoria as vengeance for a fucking rumour. I was so fucking stupid to believe that rumour before even asking Y/N about it. Two months we had broken up. Two months and I'm still broken. Shattered into a million pieces. Now I'm dating Astoria to try and make Y/N jealous. But it doesn't seem to be working. I made the same mistake before and she gave me a second chance. She was so generous and loving and this is how I repay her?!? I'm a fucking idiot. Still, with the spaces between us, I find myself longing for her touch. Her comfort, and her love. Three of which I do not deserve. In this story, I thought I was the little girl, rescuing her best friend. But low and behold, I was actually the snow queen. It felt so good while it lasted, but now only thinking of her makes my heart break more. And I think of her every day."

"Oh my fucking god." I whispered to myself. "What?" I heard a voice say. I looked over my shoulder and saw Draco standing in the doorway. From his height he could see the book that I was holding in my hands. "Shit." I mumbled under my breath.
