NOT ACCURATE TO THE BOOKS
YOUR POINT OF VIEWWe had a long day of classes that seemed even longer because I was waiting impatiently for our date tonight. I payed no attention to the teachers lectures and thought about Draco. God. I felt like a little girl in first year crushing on a boy. The only difference is, is that I'm actually dating him.
NARRATORS POINT OF VIEW
Wait. Is it still considered a crush when a girl fancies the boy she's dating? Wouldn't that be a like? Or... oh honey I have no clue.
YOUR POINT OF VIEW
After classes, I skipped dinner and ran straight to Draco's dorm. I would've normally ran to mine in order to get ready, but seeing as we're roommates, I really didn't have a choice. I chose an outfit and ran to the bathroom to get changed.
I curled my hair and put on some light makeup. When I was done getting ready, I opened the door and walked back into his dorm. "Draco?" I called out. I was met with silence. Just then, I saw a note left on his bed. "Hi Princess, sorry for not meeting you up here. I got called down by Snape. Please meet me by the black lake. I'll see you soon xx" it read. I smiled to myself and started walking down to the black lake.
From a distance, I saw a tall boy with platinum blonde hair. He was wearing a black turtleneck and a black suit.
I walked up to him. "Hey Draco." I said with a smile. His eyes widened, but apart from that, he didn't say or do anything. "Damn. I know I'm dressing a bit more casual than I did on our last date but I thought since we were at the black lake, I should dress in something not as expensive, you know, since we have a history of randomly jumping into the water. But I can change really quickly, just give me like ten mi-"
I was cut off by a passionate kiss from Draco. "I'm sorry if I seemed rude Darling, you just seem to have a way of rendering me speechless." He said breathily. I smiled up at him. "Is it just me, or are we totally about to make out right now." I laughed, my hands pressed up against his chest. "Normally yes, but how about we have dinner first?" He asked. He leaned over to my ear and whispered "we can save that for when we get back to my dorm." I chuckled and shoved him playfully. "Maybe..." I said winking at him.
He had laid out a picnic blanket on the floor. We sat down and begun to eat.
"Oh. Before I forget, I have something to give you." He said. He reached into his inner suit pocket and pulled out a rectangular red velvet box, and handed it to me. I raised an eyebrow at him. He chuckled and said "we'll go on and open it!"
I slowly opened the box and saw a familiar gold locket. "Draco. Lucius. Malfoy."
"Yes Darling?"
I kissed him. "Do you know how much I love you?" I asked him with a smile. He took the locket gently in his hands and opened it, showing me the picture inside. "I think I have a pretty good idea." He replied, kissing me again. Draco started taking off his suit jacket. I eyed him suspiciously.
"Draco, Love?"
"Yes Princess?"
"You aren't about to throw me into the lake again are you?"
He leaned in and kissed my cheek. "Now it wouldn't be a real date if I didn't Hmm?" He whispered. The feeling of his hot breath against my ear, distracted me for a moment about what he had said, and before I knew it, he was holding me bridal style in his arms. "WAIT DRACO DON'T-"
And of course I was cut off and met by cold water. He followed closely after me and back flipped in. He rose to the surface and whipped his hair out of his face. I giggled. "You're just showing off now." I said. "That, I am." He replied.
"WAIT NO! I'M SUPPOSED TO BE MAD AT YOU!"
"For what Darling?"
"FOR FUCKING THROWING ME IN THE WATER!"
"You're not still mad at me. Are you?"
"Ugh. No. You're too cute to be mad at. Curse you and your stupid, hot, sexy, cute face."
"Mmm."
He lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around my torso. He cupped my cheeks gently and smiled at me, causing me to smile back. "Did I tell you how beautiful you look tonight?" He asked, staring into my eyes with his grey ones. "Mm. Something along those lines." I replied, giggling. "How'd I get so lucky?" We both said at the same time. He looked at my lips, smiling, and kissed me. God. I loved this man so much.
After an hour or so, we got back to Draco's dorm, showered, and changed into pyjamas. We laid in bed, facing one another. The lights were out, but I could still see faint outlines of his features where the moon illuminated him. "Draco? Can I ask you a question?" I asked quietly. "Ask away Princess." He replied.
"Why me?"
"What do you mean?"
"You have all the girls in the school falling for you. So why me?"
He was silent for a moment before he chuckled softly. "Y/N, you're funny, kind, smart, you stayed with me through the hard times, and you're my best friend. There's no one I'd rather be with." He said, kissing my hand.
"Oh Blaise is going to be sad to hear that."
"He'll get over it."
"Well?"
"Well what, Princess?"
"Aren't you going to ask me?"
He smiled sweetly. "Darling, I don't need to ask you. Your answer is the same as mine. Isn't it?"
"I suppose it is."
"Hey Princess?"
"Yes Love?"
"It's almost midnight."
"So?"
"So don't go running away when the clock strikes twelve."
"I'm staying right here."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight Draco."
