DRACO'S POINT OF VIEW"Ugh Draco you spray on way too much cologne. The blanket and the pillows smell like you." She said laughing. I blushed a dark red colour. Thank god the lights were off so she couldn't see me blush. "Oh- erm- sorry about that." I said. "You're cute when you blush. Did you know?" She asked. "Fuck." I whispered under my breath. "Y/N if we're going to stay friends, you're going to have to stop calling me cute." I said. "But what if I don't want to? What if I don't want to stay friends? What if you don't want to?" She asked. My breath hitched and my heart was beating out of my chest. "Goodnight Draco." She said casually. "Goodnight." I replied.
I was woken up by a light touch around my stomach. Someone was holding themselves close to me. I smelled a familiar perfume scent. "Y/N what are you doing?" I whispered. "I couldn't sleep." She replied. I turned to face the ceiling. She put her head on my chest and a wrapped an arm around her. "Friends can cuddle platonically. Right?" I asked. "Shhhhh.
You're waking me up." Y/N replied. I felt somewhat uncomfortable, knowing that Y/N was listening to how fast my heart was beating. I caught myself smiling. Wait stop. This is totally platonic. She's only up here because she had a hard time sleeping."Morning Draco." Y/N said, shaking me awake. I opened my eyes and saw Y/N standing over me, already in her robes. She pulled a green apple out of her bag and tossed it to me. I caught it as she took a bite of a red one. "Thanks." I said. "Mhm. Sleep well?" She asked. I nodded. "Very well." I said, smiling. "What are you smiling at?" She asked, emphasizing the "you". I stopped smiling immediately. "Get changed weirdo." She laughed.
THREE MONTHS LATER
YOUR POINT OF VIEWIts been three months since we arrived back at Hogwarts for our sixth year. Blaise and Pansy's relationship was amazing. I think Blaise and Pansy could really be something great. Since Blaise was spending most of his time with Pansy, that meant that Draco and I spent our time together. We were just like best friends again! Our relationship was totally platonic actually... besides the constant flirting, Draco's side glances in potions, winking in the hallways, and the, well erm- fantasies.
"Y/N?" I heard the door opened suddenly. I slammed my diary shut, and dropped it with my quill into my bag. I turned around and saw Blaise. "Blaise! How are you?" I asked. He eyed me skeptically. "Good." He replied slowly. "Just wanted to see if you and Draco wanted to join Pansy and I to the Three Broomsticks." He asked. I felt my face heat up. "I-I'm not going on a date with Draco! We're just friends again!" I replied. "Who said anything about a date?" He asked. "I-I D-don't say anything about this." I stuttered. I held my face in my hands to hide from embarrassment.
"You're skittish." Said Blaise. His face suddenly lit up. "You!" He said, pointing at me. "You still fancy Draco!" He said, quite loudly. "Well thanks. You could say it a little louder. I don't think the Hufflepuffs heard." I snapped. "Besides. I don't fancy Draco." I said.
NARRATOR'S POINT OF VIEW
She does fancy Draco.
DRACO'S POINT OF VIEW
I was in the common room when I heard someone from my dorm yell "You still fancy Draco!" It was Blaise's voice. I smiled to myself, knowing that Y/N was in my room right now. So she did still fancy me. I mean, I knew it, but I still needed some validation.
YOUR POINT OF VIEW
"Blaise! Give it back!" I whined. I was reaching for my diary, of which Blaise had stolen out of my bag. He was reading it out loud. "Fantasies? Wow Y/N. I wonder what you think about when you're sleeping next to him at night." He teased. "You'll regret this!" I warned. "It was worth it!" He yelled back, walking out of my room, book still in hand.
NARRATOR'S POINT OF VIEW
Y/N screamed into the nearest pillow. "How did enemies become lovers, then to friends?" She thought to herself. "My life is an absolute joke." She whined. "Oh Darling don't say that." Said a familiar voice. "And for the record, you're life isn't a joke. If anything, mine is." He said, standing at the doorway. "So gonna tell me what's got your wand in a knot?" Asked Draco, even though he already knew. He was sitting next to her and rubbing her back. Y/N flushed red. "Oh. Nothing, just school work." She lied. "Well anyways, I'm going to go talk to Pansy. See you later then?" She asked. "Definitely." Draco replied with a smile.
"So Astoria is basically the old me?" Pansy asked. "Yeah, she keeps trying to get Draco to hate me." Y/N replied. "So Y/N..." she said, smiling sheepishly. "Do you like anyone?" She asked, giggling. "No!" She replied. "Not Harry, Ron, Dean, or what about Draco?" Pansy asked. And the sound of Draco's name, Y/N's breath hitched. "You still like him!" She shouted. "Wow thanks. You and Blaise both love to announce everything to the whole school." Y/N snapped back.
DRACO'S POINT OF VIEW
I was listening and watching Y/N as she spoke. Her laugh, and the way she said everything was just perfect, like my favourite song. I wanted it on repeat. I saw Astoria slip something into Y/N drink discreetly. Y/N took the cup and look a sip. It hit me hard of the potion in her cup. I could smell her perfume all of a sudden. Amortenia. I ran to the seat next to her. "Y/N! Look at Blaise!" Shouted Astoria.
