"What?" I asked him. "Oh well Dumbledore wanted to meet wi-" he started. "I heard what you said." I said back. I started walking towards the school.

I walked up to the eagle entrance and saw Dumbledore waiting for me. "Y/N. please. Come in." He said.

We walked up to his office and sat down at his desk. "This came for you. I assume it's from your father." He said. He handed me a white envelope with my name on it. I ripped it open slowly, and started to read.

"Y/N. I heard what happened to Y/M. I know that I wasn't the best dad for you, but I wanted to say I was sorry. If you're ever in London around George St, come see me. I'll write you my address another time. I'd like to start over. Maybe get to be your father again. I'd also like to let you know that even though I wasn't the best father for you, I'm trying again. With another family. I think I'm doing better. I'm staying this time. So if you ever decide to come see me, I'd like you to meet little Sasha too one day. Maybe you could be an older sister of some sorts.

I folded back up the letter and put it in the envelope. I gulped, and tried to find the right words. Did Dumbledore want to talk to me about it? Maybe he already knew about what was written in the letter. "Erm- can I just go please?" I said quietly. Dumbledore nodded, and I walked briskly out of his office.

I fucking wished I had Draco here with me right now. I speed walked over to the Slytherin common room. "Blaise let's go." I called out. "Tryna link with your boyfriend's best friend? Nice one kid." Said a voice dryly. I knew that voice anywhere. "Always a pleasure Astoria." I said, turning to her. She sneered back. "So word around Hogwarts is that you're an orphan now! Wait what happened to dear old dad? Oh. That's right. No wonder he left you. You're a fucking bitch and a slut." She spat. "Astoria, now's not the time." I said. Tears were gathering rapidly in my eyes. "Oh I'm sorry. Did I hit a nerve? Go ahead and cry little baby. That's what you've been doing this whole fucking year anyway." She smirked.

"Astoria, if you don't shut your fucking mouth, I won't be the one crying tonight." I said harshly. "Ooh. Feisty. Go ahead and hit me? I doubt Umbridge would let you stay much longer after." She said laughing. I started to walk towards her, but got pulled away, and out of the common room.

"Y/N what's going on?" Asked Blaise, continuing to pull me. "I'll tell you one we stop moving." I said. He pulled be into the room of requirements. "Okay spill." He said. I handed him the letter and let myself cry. "Y/N, I- I'm sorry." He said. I chuckled softly through tears. "He said he was a bad father? I lived 15 FUCKING YEARS WITHOUT HIM! HE NEVER CARED ABOUT ME! NEVER READ A BOOK TO ME! NEVER TAUGHT ME MY FIRST SPELL!" I yelled. "As far as I can say, he wasn't a father at all. I'm a fucking orphan. I'd rather be a parent less bitch without that fucking piece of shit in my life." I said. I started to cry more. Blaise came over to me, and hugged me. "You know, I used to think that he left because of me. I thought I drove him away. I spent so many fucking tears on this person who I had no memory of. I didn't even know his name until now. And now he has another family? Another daughter? He suddenly can afford to give everything he denied me?" I said.

"Y/N, I'm really sorry." Said Blaise. "I-I don't care... I don't care... I-I don't..." I said. But I did. I hoped that if I kept saying it, I would believe it. But I didn't. "I hate Draco." I said finally, after minutes of crying. "Why?" Asked Blaise. "Because he's not here for me." I said in between sobs. "Y/N, I know he would be, but he's away on business right now." He replied. "I KNOW THAT!" I yelled. "I'm sorry. I'm just mad right now that no one's s here for me." I said. "Hey! Hey! You got me! Didn't you? Fred, George, Ron, Granger, Potter, Longbottom, Seamus, Dean Thomas, we're all here for you! Y/N, you have so many people. You just have to open your eyes." He said.

I knew he was right. I didn't have no one. I had amazing friends. "Wait one moment Y/N. I'll be back in five." He said quickly, before exiting the room.

I waited impatiently on the couch for a few minutes, when I heard the door open. I couldn't believe it. He'd actually done it. Fred George, Hermione, Harry, Ron, Ginny, Luna, Dean, Seamus, and Neville. I smiled slightly at the sight of all of them. "What're you all doing here?" I asked them. "You don't think we would let you be alone did you?" Asked Hermione. I smiled as they all came to hug me. "So are you going to tell us what it's all about?" Asked Ron. I handed him the letter. They all read it, and passed it around in a circle. After they'd all read it, they had sad expressions on their faces. "My dad. Fifteen fucking years without a single phone call, without a quick hello, happy birthday, Merry Christmas, without a single fucking letter. And this is what he writes me." I said.

"I can't imagine what that must feel like Y/N. I'm so sorry." Said Dean. "Yeah. I don't think any of us do." Said Seamus.
"But Harry-" I started. He chuckled softly and hugged me. "My parents were murdered. They didn't leave by choice. I don't know how it feels to you either." He said.

"Y/N? You alright?" Asked George. I shook my head no. "I don't think I've ever been alright. I've been sick my whole life, and I just wish I had a normal family. You know, as a child. Maybe without a family. It's better than what I've been though. My uncle, my dad. They can both go and fucking burn in hell the bastards!" I yelled. They all looked surprised at me, especially Neville and Luna. "I- I'm sorry. I'm just mad right now. I think I need to be alone." I said. "That's the opposite of what you need Y/N." said Ginny. "Just- keep talking." Said Neville.
