Here is another update enjoy.

Captain Singh's testimony damaged Barry's case more than I did. I feel sick to my stomach that the world we've built around us is crumbling. This is not what should be happening to us. We help save the city and now we're we being prosecuted by the city we protect for a murder we did not commit. And it feels like there is nothing we can do to stop it. Cecile leads us into a private room where we can all chat. "As we thought might happen, we are in trouble. David's testimony hurt us, but we still have a few options." Cecile advises us.

"What are they?" I ask her.

"I can go to Slater and ask for a plea deal. Maybe get you two a shorter sentence." Barry and I shake our heads at that idea. "Or we could use an insanity defense."

"No." Barry and I say together.

"I will not be labeled insane when I am not. The first thing they will want to do is send us to someplace like Arkhym and I will not go there." I explain to Cecile.

"Both of those options are admitting we're guilty and we're not." Barry reminds her.

"Fine, then the only other way out of this is for you to testify." Cecile looks right at Barry.

"Cecile, I'm sorry I won't do that."

"All of the evidence, every bit of evidence points to you two. Anna the only thing going for you is they think Barry did most of the work and you covered for him but..." Cecile looks at Barry with worry in her eyes. "If you're not willing to take that stand and defend yourself, then this is an impossible case."

"I'm not taking the stand." Barry repeats.

"Even if it means this case goes in our favor?" I ask him.

"Anna, if I testify I have to lie. I commit perjury, I become exactly who they think I am."

"Then don't lie." Cecile blurts out.

"What?" Barry and I ask her confused.

"Tell the truth. Tell everyone you're The Flash." Barry chuckles at the idea. "Barry, if the court knows you're the Flash, then you can explain everything and they'll believe you. The prosecution's gonna wrap up soon. I need your answer today. This is the only way, Barry. Tell the city you're The Flash." Cecile leaves Barry and me alone so we can discuss our options.

"DeVoe has thought of everything. To the last second." I mutter.

"What are you saying?"

"He wanted us both out of the way and...I've dealt with people like him. Those who are five steps ahead of us and we're just playing right into his trap." I explain to Barry.

"So what are you saying?"

"We know we didn't kill DeVoe. He knows that and we know that so...prison might be the smarter decision."

"How..."

"If he's wanting you to tell the world that you're The Flash, it can't be a good thing. We can come back from being wrongfully accused of murder but..."

"If I tell everyone who I am there is no way to come back from that." Barry finishes.

"I'm not saying to give up on proving our innocence but...I don't think telling everyone who you are will do us any good."

"Damnit!" Barry hits the table.

"Babe..."

"I just...you're going to go to prison because of me and...I want to do everything in my power to prevent that from happening..."
