Thank you for the feedback on my last chapter. Enjoy another update.
Anna's POV
"It's Nora. We all love her." Iris tries to get through to Barry.
"She lied to us, Iris. Since the first day she got here, about Thawne!" I hear Barry yell. "She knows what he did to us. To me. To my mother. I can't believe a word she says."
"You say that now." I make my presence known. Barry turns to face me.
"She's a liar, Anna."
"Yes, she's been lying since the moment she's come here, Barry. I was the first person to tell you that."
"That's not fair."
"And why the hell not?" I question him. "I love our daughter, but I knew there was something off with why she was here. At this time in our lives. I knew it, and I expressed my concern to you."
"This is different."
"How because now it's directly affecting you?" I snap.
"Anna, don't go...
"Oh, I'm going there." I face my husband. I know everyone is getting a little with our fighting. "Please enlighten me, Barry. Why is her lying a problem for you now? Because all you've wanted was to fight crime with your daughter, and you got that."
"She lied to us. To me about working with Thanwe. You know what he did to me."
"But we don't even know why she's working with him." I try and reason with Barry, but I fear it's too far gone.
"The pressing question is not why Nora is working with the Reverse-Flash. Maybe I can shed some light on the matter." Sherloque offers.
"Wait." Barry looks from me to Sherloque and then lands on Damian. "How long have you three suspected Nora?" He questions.
"The moment she got here." Damian and I answer while Sherloque says since he's arrived.
"You three have been following this trail this whole time and didn't think to tell us about it until now?" Iris questions.
"I told Barry." I admit to everyone. "And he was so blinded by his love for Nora that he didn't see the red flags. None of you saw the red flags."
"She's your daughter Anna." Iris says to me.
"And this hurts most of all for me, Iris!" I shout back at her. "I never thought I would be a mother and to have my child from the future come and...not to trust her. I was almost willing to ignore the feelings I had, but that would be wrong of me. I kept them hidden as long as I could, but I knew something was wrong, and when Barry didn't listen, I confided to Sherloque and Damian." I explain myself.
"Are you kidding me?" Barry is pissed.
"We're not kidding you, String Bean." Damian fires back.
"You don't come to conclusions without facts." Sherloque adds. "All the facts."
"You've been looking into our daughter this whole time, and..."
"I tried telling you all the time, Barry! You wouldn't listen. You kept saying, oh, don't worry about it, Anna. She's our daughter. Well, she's our daughter Barry, and she was taking advice from a psychotic murderer who has does nothing but manipulates all of us."
"Why didn't you keep telling me until I believed you?"
"Because no one can make you see something you don't want to see, Barry. You were so hard-headed that nothing was going to get through to you. That is why I needed irrefutable proof so you could finally open your eyes. Did I want it to be exposed to everyone in this manner hell no? I wanted it to be between our daughter and us, but life doesn't work out how we expect now, does it."
