I loved writing this chapter. I hope you all enjoy it.
"Okay, a toast to the future Mrs. Allen." Everyone raises their glasses to me.
"Wayne-Allen." I correct her.
"Wayne-Allen. All through your life with Barry may be fast-paced, I hope you guys take the time to enjoy the special moments." Felicity finishes her speech for me.
"Thank you all for coming." I say to all of them.
"Now let's eat!" Iris says and our food is brought to us.
"Iris this place is amazing. How did you ever find it?" Cecile asks as she digs into her food.
"Someone at work did a story on great nightlife in Central City and this place was at the top of the list." Iris explains.
"I mean this is a beautiful place but not much of a nightlife." Felicity comments.
"Wait till dessert." I wink at her.
"Oh...is there dinner a show?" Felicity asks.
"Something like that." Iris and I share a look.
"I just want to say..." Caitlin raises her glass and I smile at her. She's been so distant it's made me worry about what is bothering her. "Love is hard to come by in our line of work. It's even harder to keep. I want to congratulate you and Barry for persevering through all of the hardships and always finding a way to come out on top."
"Thank you." I go up and hug her.
"That was so sweet." Cecile is trying to keep her pregnancy hormones intact but she might lose it some tonight. The light dim causing the girls to jump.
"Oh, what's that?" Felicity asks.
"Can I direct everyone's attention to the center stage?" The M.C. asks over the microphone. The rest of the parties look and a spotlight appears. A man in a trench comes out and a faint tune is playing. It's Raining Men start playing and water gushes down as the man is joined by others in the same outfit rip their shirts off.
"YES!" Felicity screams in enjoyment.
"Dinner and a show." Cecile is pleased as we watch the performance.
"Take it all off!" Iris, Felicity, Cecile, and I chant to the performers as they complete their first number. Their clothes are thrown into the audience and we're all cheering for them.
"I hear we have a bride to be in the house." The M.C. says.
"Oh yeah right here." Iris points to me and the spotlight comes over to us.
"Well, it's time to show her a good time. Gentlemen." The performers in nothing but spandex shorts come over to our table. One of them holds out their hand for me and I take it just for them to carry me over their shoulder toward the stage.
