Going Too Far

Happy series finale day!!!!! I cannot believe this is the end of The Flash forever. I love this show no matter how much the writing has gone down hill in recent seasons but the love and joy the show has brought me is still the same. I hope you all enjoy this update and more are to come.

Anna's POV

"Why are we here?" Damian questions as we walk around the carnival that came to town.

"I thought we should have some alone time before the baby comes."

"Makes no difference to me." Damian says, and I look at him, confused. Since he's lived with our family, he's grown to show emotion where before, it was always locked away.

"You used to say how excited you were for the baby to come so you could properly teach them the ways of the League." I remind him.

"It's a baby. It makes no difference."

"Damian."

"This is bullshit. Lower-brained individuals rig all of these games and..."

"What is wrong with you?" I demand.

"That you and String Bean think everything is going to be okay because you're having a baby."

"We're the last people who think a baby makes the world around us perfect."

"That's not how it seems."

"Are you worried this baby will replace you?" He refuses to look at me now. I force him to sit with me. "Because that will never happen. You are my so..." I stop myself because it feels wrong taking that title when I know he has parents. "I'm sorry that...I was over..."

"You think of me as your son?" He asks me. I look at Damian, and I just see pure love.

"Yes." I answer honestly. His frown turns slightly to a smile. "You don't have to see me as a mother. I can still be Aunt Anna in your eyes...."

"I like it." He interrupts me. I smile at Damian feeling like he's my Damian that I know and love. "Now, which sucker are we going to steal all the plush animals from?" He asks, looking towards the carnival.

"The one who just made those grown men cry." I suggest.

"Excellent choice, mother."

3rd Person's POV

It's game night at the West house, and it's going great despite the drama everyone is facing, with Barry losing his speed and Carver trying to kill them all. A game night is exactly what they all need. "And...go." Cecile states, and Barry begins to sketch out his drawing.

"Like a map of some kind?" Joe guesses.

"No."

"That's a flux capacitor." Cisco takes a shot at it.

"Hold...no." Barry tells him.

"No, that's a good idea."

"No."

"Your dick." Damian guesses.

"Dude!" Cisco scolds him. "Keep it PG."

"Why? There's nothing PG about this bunch." Damian fires back.

"Ohhh, kid..."

"They are not going to get this." Iris whispers to Anna and Kamilla.

"Oh, this is..."

"Okay, hold on. All right..." The alarm goes off, signaling the end of Barry's turn.

"Okay, it was gonna be the Eiffel Tower." Barry shares with the group feeling defeated for being too slow once again.
