Thank you all for the support. I love writing this crossover.
Barry's POV
"What are you talking about?" Oliver asks.
"Clark. Damian, it's us. Barry and Oliver." I try to get them to realize who we are. Damian still has his eyes glowing bright red.
"Oh, we know who you are dipshit." Damian fires back. He takes a menacing step towards us. Suddenly he's right in front of us. Damian has an iron grip on both Oliver and my necks. "Do you want to see how easy I can break you? Or should we play a game?" I'm tariffed more than I've ever been with Damian especially with his eyes glowing blood red at us. "Necks break easily around here. Don't you think?" He tilts his head at us and it's hard to believe he's still in his fourteen-year-old form with such deadly capabilities. Clark steps up and places a hand on Damian's shoulder.
"Go back to the base. I can handle these two." Clark instructs Damian.
"But I..." He applies pressure and Damian winces.
"It wasn't a question." Damian with his eyes still glowing flies off leaving us alone with Clark. "Your confusion lies with me."
"Deegan." Oliver pieces together. "The Monitor gave you the book back?"
"And showed me how to really use it." Deegan is smug about what he's done.
"You can't just write yourself as a hero. It doesn't work that way." I argue with him.
"Doesn't it though? You were struck by lightning. I was given the book by a higher power. Both random acts of chance. But this, this is my destiny. So much more than becoming The Flash was ever yours."
"People don't become heroes because of circumstance. They become heroes in spite of circumstance." I exclaim. He just chuckles at me. "And what the hell have you done to my nephew?!" I demand furiously.
"Like it? Young Damian is wasting so much potential with your team. I am just utilizing the very best aspects of him. He's loyal through and through and above all else..." Deegan smirks at us. "He's ruthless and I love it."
"You're using him as a personal guard dog and that's wrong!" I shout.
"But oh so right." Deegan chuckles again. "And this is..." He motions to his Superman form. "Is everything."
"You're just a cheap knockoff." Oliver insults him.
"Oh, I'm anything but cheap." Deegan sets a fire behind us with his heat vision. Making a crane shift back and forth. "Just wait till you see what other fun changes I've made. To your family, your friends. There is no safe harbor for you. This is no longer your world. It's mine!" Deegan stomps his foot on the ground making it crack and a gust of wind knocks us back.
"Barry, I have an idea." Oliver whispers to me as he looks at the gun that's near my arm. I slide it to him. We get back up and he aims the gun at Deegan.
"Idiots. I'm bulletproof." Deegan reminds us.
"I know." Oliver answers before shooting the last cord holding the crane up on the roof. We hear people screaming already from the ground.
"You wanna be Earth's hero? Save the children or stop us." I order him.
"Your choice, Superman!" Oliver roars. Deegan did what he hoped for and he flew down to save the children which gives us just enough time to start running for our lives. We make it down from the roof and onto the streets. I'm so out of breath with all of this running. "Being bad makes me feel bad, man." I state through heavy breaths.
