Sorry for the long wait in between updates but here is the new chapter enjoy. Also we are very close to everyone finding out the truth and it's going to test Anna and Barry in so many ways.
3rd Person POV
"So le petit Dwyer is a meta." Sherloque comments as the team just found out that Grace Gibbons is a meta.
"Wait, I thought we scanned Grace for meta powers when Nora entered her brain." Caitlin reminds everyone.
"We did." Anna confirms for her friend. "But that was when her DNA was 100% human."
"Yes." Cisco snaps his fingers in agreement. "Her powers must have activated in just the last few weeks."
"Yeah, Ambres told Joe that the wound in Grace's head recently started glowing and mutating." Barry explains.
"Now all we need to do is get Dwyer to listen to you, again." Sherloque suggest.
"Killer Frost can put him on ice from the neck down." Caitlin suggests.
"Better yet." Cisco snaps his fingers. "I can re-sequence the Speed Force Bazooka to overload him with negative tachyons."
"Absolutely."
"And he could just be stuck there." Cisco continues.
"Tachyon, shmack-yon. No, no. La Machine a Memorie!" Sherloque suggests. "We could go inside Dwyer's mind."
"No more going inside people's minds!" Anna interrupts. "People's inner thoughts are horrifying."
"Or we could just kill him and sacrifice him to the Trench." Damian suggests. "Wait you all believe Batman's real but have a hard time believing Aquaman."
"What is this..." Damian shakes his head.
"You all can't handle a damn thing." Damian mutters.
"Guys!" Barry tries to get their attention.
"I say let's just inject him with a bunch of drugs and dump him in the water." Damian suggests killing Cicada again. "Problem solved."
"Problem is not solved." Cisco argues.
"Oh so you'll imprison someone for an eternity to your shitty bazooka toy but killing him is so morally wrong!" Damian argues right back.
"We're not kill..."
"Guys, hey!" Barry raises his voice getting everyone's attention. Everyone stops. "I appreciate the enthusiasm, but I think we need to take a different approach. No powers, no crazy plans. The Flash can't convince Cicada to stop this, but...maybe I can." Barry explains to everyone. Anna smiles at her husband feeling pride in him realizing what he needs to do.
"I still vote to sacrifice him to the Trench." Damian suggests again.
"What the hell is the trench?" Cisco asks.
"Believe it or not Rapunzel they are creatures who are uglier than you." Cisco's mouth hangs open.
"Wow. You have said some hurtful things in the past but that really hurts." Cisco pouts.
"I take it back you are worse." Damian teases Cisco.
"Okay let's get things in place. We have a second shot and we can't lose it" Anna reminds them.
"Fine." Caitlin drags Cisco away from Damian who is just begging Cisco to fight him.
"Come tiny monkey you can help me." Sherloque drags Damian away leaving Anna and Barry alone.
