United We Fight

Okay am I the only one who thought the fighting in this crossover was a little cheesy? Still a great crossover but the fighting sequences were a little corny for me in my opinion.

Anna's POV

"How are you feeling?" Barry has not left my side since we made it to the Waverider.

"Caitlin did a full work upon me. Besides being dehydrated. Other than that, I was fine." I assure him.

"Okay, we need to run..."

"Barry." I grab his arm. "No more tests. We don't have time for that."

"I just got you back, Anna. When I thought you could be dead or missing and...I need to know you're okay."

"I'm fine." I hold his face in my hands. "You didn't die."

"No, but...Earth-90 Flash did."

"He was a nobleman to give his life for us and the universe." I tell him.

"It should have been me."

"Why?"

"Because it was always supposed to be me."

"Maybe fate is finally siding with us."

"Anna, there is something I need to tell you." Barry has a serious tone in his voice.

"What happened?"

"Oliver...he...he died."

"What?"

"When you sent The Monitor and Oliver back to the ship, his injuries were too severe, and...he died."

"No, he..." I didn't realize I was crying hysterically until Barry is wrapping his arms around my whole body. I'm shaking as I cry my heart out for Oliver's death. "No, I sent him...I sent him away to save him. I...I failed."

"No, Anna, that is..."

"I was trying to save him. And he...he died anyway." I cry in Barry's arms.

"You did everything you could. You...you saved so many people Anna. You should give yourself more credit."

"How many Earth's?"

"Only Earth-1 remains."

"Barry..."

"Jesse and Harry, they are... they're gone."

"Earth-X Lenny and..." Barry grabs my hand. "Sherloque, the Counsel of Wells."

"They're all gone." Barry confirms for me.

"And for us to defeat the Anti-Monitor, we the Paragons have to do what?" I ask him.

"I wish I knew."

"There has to be a mistake. I am no Paragon of Redemption."

"I don't know you've... you've clawed your way from being an assassin and...saved the world countless times. Sacrificed yourself for others and...I would say all of those are redeeming qualities."

"Can...is Oliver where I can see him?"

"Let me take you."

"No, I want...I can do this alone."

I break down again, seeing his body. I cry over him, not knowing what to do with myself. "I never thought this day would...god damnit, Ollie." I hold his cold hand. "I had so much I wanted to tell you. So much I wanted..." I continue to cry my heart out for him. "I don't know what I'm going to do without you. I...you were my first love...friend...a big part of my life. I...I will always miss you." I kiss his forehead.
