What Up Party People?

This was a sad chapter to write because of what's to come.

Barry's POV

"You're looking at the world's first inverse mass angular momentum disruptor, but we can just call it a stellar grenade." Cisco introduces me to his new gadget he made.

"Cool." I admire it. "So this will destroy the black hole?" I ask him.

"As long as it doesn't get much bigger, this will reverse the hole's mass-collecting properties. Causing it...Implode." Cisco explains.  "Just toss it in the event horizon; hasta lasagna, don't get any on you." He places the Stellar grenade in my hands.

"Damian is going to try and make one himself." I comment.

"Who says the child isn't already?"

"AH!" Cisco and I scream as Damian jumps down from the ceiling.

"Why do you do that?" Cisco asks as he clutches his chest.

"I do my best work up high and two weirdo's looked so in love with that technology." He comments.

"This is a fine piece of work that should be admired." Cisco argues.

"I want to shove it up your ass and make you explode!" Damian shouts.
"Oh I would like to see you try it."

"Okay no one is shoving this up anyone's ass." I stand between them.

"No just Rapunzel's." Damian says in a serious tone.

"No." Iris says as she comes into the room. "If we destroy it, we're gonna kill Chester too."

"I still say do it." Damian says and we look to him but he's not affected by this one bit. "I'm going to turn it on now."

"NO!" We shout at him and he just smirks.

"You three are so easy."

"You sure about this?" I question Iris.

"Yeah, the corona's flair matched the exact cadence of Chester's fingers." Iris explains to me.

"So the black hole and Chester are connected?" Cecile asks.

"Or Chester is the black hole." Anna chimes in.

"How could that be?" Cecile asks.

"He was tampering with old technology. Technology that was riddled with dark matter energy and when he made the black hole and touched it then it became part of him." Ana explains.

"Anna's right." Caitlin agrees with my wife. "Watch this." She pulls up scans for us. "So normally stimuli enters the brain through the sensory area, goes up to the temporal lobe, and then back around. But watch what happens in Chester's brain. It starts in the right area, but halfway through its rotation, it disappears." She explaisn to us.

"I think I know where it's going." Cisco says from his desk. He points to the screen with a new image on there. "You're looking at a map of the negative ionic energy inside the black hole. Watch what happens when an energy pulse travels along its tendrils. See how it stops halfway?" He merges his map with Chester's brain scan.

"The black hole is the other half of Chester's mind." Cecile pieces together.

"It's his consciousness." Anna says.

"Maybe it's been showing up in places that hold an emotional attachment for him. Like the junkyard where he stole stuff for his projects." Cisco theorizes.

"Jitters where he stalks Natalie." Damian adds.

"Okay, so all we have to do is get Chester's mind out of the black hole, reunited with his body and once his condition stabilizes, the black hole should just collapse." I explain to everyone.
