Sorry for the long wait in-between updates. Working on updating this book more so bare with me during the breaks.

3rd Person POV

"He's just going through another phase." Anna tries to comfort Barry.

"He's being more of a douche to me, and that's saying a lot." Barry complains while he works on improving Gideon.

"He's going through a lot. He's in a limbo stage where he doesn't know where or what he wants to be."

"Well, he can start with not being a dick."

"Oh, that's never going to happen."

"How was your trip with your dad?"

"It was nice. He gave me a lot of things of my parents that they wanted to give me, and it just reminds me how much I miss them."

"They would be so proud of you."

"I know, and they would have loved knowing you."

"I know my parents would feel the same."

"I have one stop to refuel, and then I'll be back home, and we can get takeout?" Anna says.

"From our favorite Thai fusion?"

"Of course."

"Love it. Yes!" Barry exclaims.

"What's that?"

"I'm improving Gideon's circuitry, and I think I finally did it." Barry answers.

"Well, I'll leave you to it, babe, and I can't wait to see you."

"Love you, Banana." Barry blows Anna a kiss even if she can't see him, and the phone call ends. "Let's try this again, Gideon." He places the earbud in his ear, and electricity is fired through him, and he falls to the ground. Barry wakes up suddenly, finding himself in a cage. "What the hell?" He stands and tries to phase through the cell walls, but his powers are gone. The door opens, and Caitlin walks through.

"Oh, good. You're awake."

"Oh, Caitlin. Thank God. What...what the hell is going on?" Barry asks. "I mean, one minute, I'm the Speed Lab fixing Gideon, and the next thing I know, I'm here. My speeds gone." Caitlin just smiles at him.

"Quite the little chatterbox today, aren't we?" She mocks him.

"What?" Barry's getting worried now. "Why are you talking to me like that? NAd, why am I in a cage?" Caitlin just keeps looking at him and saying nothing. "Caitlin? Caitlin, let me out of here!" He pulls on one of the cell bars and is still unable to break free.

"Easy, killer." Barry stiffens, hearing Thawne's voice.

"Thawne?"

"You're quite the specimen, aren't you?" Thawne ignores Barry.

"Go to hell. I don't know how you managed to drag me back to the past." Barry hits the bars. "Whatever all this is, I will stop you."

"Ooh." Anna comes into the room now. "Someone's cranky." She tilts her head at Barry. "Did anyone offer him the B-word?" Caitlin shrugs her shoulders.

"Maybe he just needs some privacy." Caitlin suggests. "I'm gonna go check on Ronnie. He's working on a new space he's very excited about. He's calling it the Pipeline."

"Hmm." Anna and Thawne say at the same time.

"The Pipeline."

"I need to check on the Particle Accelerator schematics." Anna leaves after Caitlin.
