Barry's POV

"What the hell happened?" I demand as I find my friends and family on the ground of the trashed lab. "Where's Anna?" I ask.
"You want me to..."
"Your wife is being controlled by the creepy doctor we none of us trusted." Damian shares with me.
"What? How...she..."
"That wasn't Anna." He says. I look around, confused.
"Ramsey turned her into one of his Blood Sisters." Frost explains.
"Babel Protocols initiated." A voice says over the intercom.
"What..."
"What's Babel Protocols?" Frost asks. "I thought that was just some defense stuff that you added to Barry's suit."
"That was version one." Cisco rejoins us. "Version 2.0 puts up a force field around S.T.A.R. Labs. Nothing gets in; nothing gets out...not even our comms."
"Cisco! My wife and unborn child are out there!" I remind him. "Being controlled by a psycho and...I need to be with them."
"Sorry, Barry. We're not going anywhere."
"No, I'm go..."
"Anna and I built this just in case..." Cisco is finding it hard to say the next phrase. "In case The Flash or Amythyst ever went dark."
"Anna did this?" I ask him.
"Aunt Anna is always thinking ten steps ahead. It's smart." Damian says.
"Anna said that Ramsey gave her a choice. Why would she choose this?" Cisco asks.
"Maybe she decided eternal life was better then watching her husband die in Crisis and lose her mind in the future." Frost suggests.
"No, it's something more than that." I argue. "Anna...she would never do this just to live forever. She...she wouldn't do this.
"She would if Ramsey is using her." Cisco chimes in. "And whatever he's having her do, he's got a plan."
"Well, we need to get a plan. I am not leaving her out there, and...we need a plan now!" I order.
"Calm down. Working on it." Cisco looks through his things.
"Why...why didn't Ramsey just have Anna kill us?" I ask everyone. "We were right there, and we all know she could do it."
"It would be easy for her." Damian agrees.
"What are you getting at?" Frost asks me.
"There's something more to this. I know Anna, and she doesn't give in to things like living forever or...she just doesn't give into that." I explain.
