Anna's POV
"Whatever is inside there, it's working. The anti-matter wave has stopped, and it's slowly dissipating." Ray comments about the quantum tower.
"How do we protect that thing from an enemy we know nothing about but know is coming?" Kate asks.
"We head inside." We turn, seeing Oliver approaching with Mia not far behind him. "Stakeout strategic positions. If we're fortified, we control the battle." An explosion happens behind them.
"An earthquake that magnitude could overwhelm the entire coast." Ray informs us.
"Go. Help contain the damage." Kate instructs Clark, Kara, and Barry.
"Go, we got this." Mia assures them. They fly and speed off.
"Look out for one another." I remind everyone. "No one is in this alone."
"Agreed." Kate says.
"This is our world, and we're not backing down to anyone." I say. Oliver nods his head and takes the lead. I take out my sword, getting ready to use it.
"Do you even need that?" Ray asks me.
"You can never have too many weapons." I tell him. I make the sword glow purple, and his eyes widen.
"That is so cool."
"What is this?" Mia asks at the silence inside the tower. "The proverbial calm before the storm?"
"Oh, she is definitely Felicity's child." I comment.
"Really?" Oliver questions me.
"You would never use the word proverbial in a sentence, let alone correctly." I tease him.
"I did not fail that English Lit class."
"You didn't pass it either." I remind him.
"Remember Mia, whatever happens, find your mother. Tell her how much I love her." Oliver instructs. We stop walking as we hear the growling of creatures outside the tower. We look and see Death Eater-like creatures coming towards us.
"Okay. When Lyla said an army, I thought she meant an...army." Mia says.
"She did. It's just that... we've never faced one like this before."
"Together." I whisper, and we all attack. I slice through the creatures with my sword and blast them with my free hand. But for everyone you take down, ten more appear in its place.
"One army. She said. One army, it's more like ten!" Ray complains.
"Ray on your left!" I shout, and he blasts a bunch of creatures.
"Than..." One attacks him, and I run over and stab the creature killing it.
"And that's why I use the sword." I tell him. I help him up.
