Jihun asked for help from Taehyung and he agreed to help.

Chen went to check about the Elves' group and promised to protect them.

Namjoon is frustrated because of Taehyung's dismissal.

Chapter 42 • Black Blood

"PFTTTT HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" the whole room filled with a loud laugh. Taehyung's eyes stunned at the demon in front of him, noticed him almost falling off the chair from over laughing. He scowled, started to feel like he asked a stupid question.

"You don't have to laugh so loud..." he mumbled quietly and crossed his arms over his chest. 

"That's a good joke kiddo, I didn't laugh like that in years!"

"I'm shocked you can even laugh" another murmur left out of Taehyung's mouth, did his best so the other won't hear him. "Is it really impossible for a vampire to kill a demon?"

Jihun put the cigar between his teeth, gave him a smirk and a small chuckle. "Do you have a target in your head? don't tell me you want to kill Jeon Jun?" suddenly he let out another loud laugh, which made Taehyung roll his eyes.

"N-no-" he would lie if he said it didn't cross his mind.

"Anyway kiddo, I won't tell you our weaknesses" now he relaxed a little and took a deep toke into his mouth.

"I know your weaknesses..." 

"Mmm... what do you know?" the old man showed him a smug smile, let the smoke out of his mouth and nostrils.

"Your weakness is the sun..." Taehyung walked closer to him, sat down on the small couch away from him.

"Mmm right" the demon chuckled, still was amused by the small Vampire. "but there won't be any demon in this world that will stay in a battle against you when the sun threats to shine out" 

Taehyung pouted with a hint of anger, "there must be a way..."

"There is a way" the demon smirked evilly, "but you gotta be smart, little Vampire. I don't think you got a big brain though" he snickered rudely. 

Taehyung bit his inner cheek, he wanted to get out of here and go back to Namjoon. But for Jeongguk... he will endure this annoying old man.

He tried to think deeply. "It's not like you'll bring the sun to them" another arrogant laugh heard and Taehyung had enough. He just rolled his eyes and laid on the back chair with a big huff.

"You became so annoying"

"And you dare to be cheeky" this sentence made Taehyung suck his lips into his mouth, felt like he shouldn't cross the line.
