Prologue • rules
Welcome to Our Mansion.
Pretty sure you didn't hear about us. Because we live in nowhere to be found. No Kine or Kindred on earth knows where we are.
Only we know.
The Vampires.
Not all the Vampires are here but who searches for us will find us.
We live in silence, and in the dark.
There are 10 rules in this mansion that we must obey.
Rule number 1:
No vampire can ever betray the brood.
Rule number 2:
No vampire can ever destroy another vampire in the brood.
Rule Number 3:
No vampire can leave the mansion without the count's permission.
Rule number 4:
All vampires must obey the count's requests.
Rule number 5:
No vampire shall ever reveal his true nature to a mortal and let the mortal live.
Rule number 6:
No vampire shall ever turn a mortal into a vampire.
Rule number 7:
No vampire can be in a relationship with another vampire in the brood.
Rule number 8:
No vampire biting another vampire.
Rule number 9:
No blood bonds are allowed.
Rules number 10:
All vampires must obey the rules.
These rules made by our greatest count, the strongest and smartest, Kim Namjoon. Of course, he took a little help from his vice adviser, Kim Seokjin.
We all follow these rules for too many years. We all respect and never asked 'why'.
