Jeongguk sat with his father in the dining room and he shared with him everything that he'd been through in these 100 years. Jun came out with a weird statement that Jeongguk looks like his mother. His voice was so soft like his touch on his cheek, which shocked Jeongguk.

The 'Judgement' event begun and to Jeongguk's surprise, Taehyung was there. Jeongguk chose to make Taehyung his slave and took him to his room.

Also, Jun recognized that Taehyung has demon blood inside him, which shocked Wheein, EXO, and Jeongguk.

Chapter 44 • Euphoria

Jeongguk finally arrived at his room's door, he opened it and pulled Taehyung strongly into the room. Taehyung's body fell down on the ground, which made him angry about the younger's sudden behavior. The cloth around his mouth got loosen, gave him the chance to take it off and finally talk. He shook his head a little just to let the black cloth fall down to his neck.

The door got slammed strongly and the sound of the lock was echoed inside the room.

Taehyung straightened his body and sat up, glared at the half-demon who gave him a death glare.

The two were in front of each other. It was a unite for them, which deep down they both desired. But this unite can't be worst than this. In the palace, where all demons around them were arrogant and awful.

Taehyung's life was in danger, and Jeongguk could only wish at that moment that it all was a dream.

"You don't need to be so aggressive" Taehyung was the first to attack, he could guess why the younger was angry, but that was so exaggerating.

"Why are you here?" Jeongguk was furious but tried to keep his voice down, just not to take the patroling servants' attention.

Taehyung paused, he took a deep breath and let it out in one shot. He looked to the side, avert eye contact with the other.

"I asked- why are you here?!" Jeongguk stepped forward, felt his body burning up in madness.

Taehyung stood up and face the half-demon. "I was been captured..."

Jeongguk clenched his teeth together. "Obviously" he scowled, "how?! why! you were supposed to be with Namjoon and the others! so how?!"

Taehyung bit his lower lip, felt nervous by his reason. He actually wondered how Jeongguk will react when he tells him the full story. "s-so..." he played with his fingers together. "I met your uncle" he gave him a small smile.

Jeongguk cocked a brow, looked at the other like he became crazy. "What?"

"Y-yeah... I got some weird dreams the moment we arrived at the elves' village... and... I followed those dreams to the abandoned house in the open field if you remember" he chuckled nervously, noticed the other with a confused expression. "and there I... I met your uncle... Jeon Jun's brother"
