The next day

I've been avoiding my mama, Melvin and Chandra since everything went down today is the day that I'm finally coming face to face to them. I walked in my mama house going straight to the living room everyone looked at me and I sat down not saying anything.
"You not gon speak," my mama asked.
"Hey mama, Cha and Mel."
"Aug," Chandra and Melvin spoke.
"Hey Aug."
"Mama don't give that nigga no proper greeting."
"Mel," my mama started but Mel cut her off.
"Nah mama he disrespected his wife by cheating on her one with a married woman then with other women because that one woman broke his heart when he was supposed to be dedicated to his wife which is K or did you forget."
"Nah I didn't forget."
"Obviously you did," Chandra spoke up.
"Y'all acting like y'all relationship was perfect-," Chandra cut me off.
"Never said that our relationship was perfect me and Mel been through stuff but we got through it yeah he broke my trust but that was in the beginning of the relationship not 6 months, not a year or a few years and damn sure not when we got married."
I sighed.
"Who was she Aug?"
"It-," Melvin cut me off.
"Yes the fuck it do matter what woman excuse my language mama pussy was so good that you forgot that your black ass was fucking married."
"Jada."
"Jada who?"
"Jada Pinkett-Smith."
"Stop lying."
"I'm not lying mama."
"How did you two even get together," Chandra asked.
I let out a sigh and broke down everything to them leaving nothing out.
"That's good K should divorce your ass."
"Mama."
"Don't mama me boy you out here living like your ass is single without a care in the world when you have a whole family at home who think you're out providing for them the entire time your embarrassing the fuck outta them."
"I know I've been trying to apologize to K for months."
"It's too late for apologies Aug she filed for divorce she's done K will always be family always you don't deserve her at all."
"I want my family back Mel."
"Was you thinking about your family when you was out cheating?"
"No."
"Okay then K almost lost her life when Kenzo came and the doctors don't think that he's going to make it K is hurting but she's powering through like she's not I don't know when was the last time she actually had a good night sleep."
I sat back and looked at my mama, Chandra and Melvin.
"I lost my wife," I asked them.
"Yeah," they all responded.
"You need to go and see a therapist Aug you and K need this break."
I nodded I looked down at my hands and took my wedding band off and looked at it then placed it back on. Soon I will be taking this band off for good I fucked up my family and I hurt my wife and best friend. Kierra is really done with me there's no turning back we're really over.
Khari
I walked in the kitchen seeing my mama sleep on the counter I walked over to my mama and tapped her she jumped up.
"It's just me mama calm down," I spoke.
"I'm about to start cooking Khari.
"Don't worry bout it mama I ordered pizza."
My mama nodded and let out a yawn.
"When was the last time you slept mama?"
"I don't know."
"Go upstairs and get you some rest I'll put your food up for you."
She waved me off.
"I'm fine Khari."
"No you're not go get some rest mama."
"Fine."
My mama walked over to me and kissed my cheek then she made her way upstairs. A'Shanee, Kameron, Malani and Zuri walked in.
"Where mama I thought she was cooking?"
"She's upstairs getting the much needed rest that she need I ordered pizza, wings and cheese sticks."
I put the chicken back up.
"Okay."
"Y'all go change."
They all nodded and walked upstairs going to their rooms. Since my pops left I've became the man of the house my mama won't let me work she wants me to focus on school so that's what I've been doing and helping out as much as I can around the house. I grabbed my phone and googled some spa resorts once I found one I called and set up an appointment for my mama and sisters.
"Ky I was thinking about setting up a spa day for mama," A'Shanee said as she walked in.
"I'm already on it I set up one already and y'all are going too."
"Okay and after that we'll get our nails and feet done I want to get mama out of the house too."
"I want to take a trip out of the country but I know for a fact that she's not going to want to leave."
"Yeah that's definitely a no we'll revisit this once Kenzo comes home."
"Right."
We walked out of the kitchen going into the living room I sat next to Zuri and pulled one of her curls she swatted my hand away from her head and I laughed.
"Ky you're annoying."
"You love me though."
"Mhmm."
The front door opened and closed then we heard footsteps my uncle Melvin came into view.
"Wassup y'all where K?"
"She's in her room getting some rest."
"Finally I came to check in on y'all and see where y'all heads are at."
My uncle Melvin sat next to Malani and she laid her head on his shoulder. We all looked at each other.
"Y'all don't all speak up at once."
"Hurt," Zuri spoke.
"Angry," Malina spoke.
My uncle Melvin looked at me.
"Disappointed," I spoke.
"Betrayed," Kameron spoke.
My uncle Melvin looked at A'Shanee.
"Hurt."
He nodded.
"Y'all can open up to me and talk to me."
Malani stood up and ran upstairs I sighed and was about to make my way upstairs to her room when my uncle Melvin stopped me he told me he had it and went upstairs to Malani room. We're all used to have both parents in the house and even though it's been a couple months we still are adjusting to having one parent in one house and the other parent in another house.
