Before basketball practice could even start I had gotten a text from my uncle Melvin telling me that my mama was in the hospital and she had my little brother prematurely. I told my coach what was going on and rushed to the hospital. My grandma was already here with A'Shanee, Kameron, Zuri and Malani. Currently I'm sitting next to my mama holding her hand.
"Where daddy," A'Shanee asked.
"We've don't know Shanee we've been calling and texting Aug but he haven't picked up."
"He should've been here," Kameron spoke.
I bit my tongue not wanting to say anything.
"You okay Ky?"
"Yea mawmaw my okay."
"You're not talking."
"I'm trying not to explode."
"Upset with Aug too?"
"Of course I am he should've been the one to bring mama to the hospital not uncle Mel and auntie Cha."
"You're right about that I don't know what has gotten into that boy."
I glanced over at Malani and Zuri who was currently knocked on laying on each other they gon be complaining about their necks later.
"Excuse my language mawmaw but these hoes he's been messing with."
"You know about your dad infidelity?"
"Of course I know mawmaw, Shanee and Kam do too everyone knows about pops and his cheating."
My mawmaw Sheila shook her head.
"Y'all gon and head home it's getting late and ion want y'all driving home late.
"We're not leaving," A'Shanee spoke.
"We can come up here tomorrow."
They all nodded we told everyone bye I looked down at my mama and wiped a tear from my eye.
"Don't worry about pops anymore mama I got us we're going to be fine I love you."
I kissed my mama cheek and let her hand go I let out a sigh and we walked out of the room Zuri came over to me and wrapped my arm around her.
"Ky is mama going to be okay?"
"Yeah she's going to pull through Toots."
"Okay."
We got on the elevator and I said a prayer for my mama and Kenzo hoping that they'll pull through. As far as my pops goes he can literally go to hell we don't need him anymore I'm the man of the house and until my mama get well I'm handling everything from here on out.
"Ky can you make baked spaghetti?"
"Of course Lani."
She nodded the elevator doors dinged and we got off the elevator and made our way towards the entrance doors.

I woke up to kisses being placed all of my face I looked seeing Chardonnay smiling at me.
"Finally you're up."
"Sorry bout that the jet lag had me tired."
"Oh okay."
I grabbed my phone seeing that had messages from Melvin, my mama, the kids and Chandra.
