My family is broken right now and I don't even look at my daddy same he's the one that took vows in front of everybody and God and he do my mama like this it's unforgivable to me. Like how do you hurt the one woman who's always had your back no matter what I just don't get it.

"Hey Shanee."

I looked up seeing Kayden.

"Hey KayKay."

"Are you okay," she asked as she sat next to me.

"Nope."

She sighed.

"I'm really at a lost for words I can't believe uncle Aug did this to auntie K."

"Me either."

"That was wrong on so many levels."

I nodded in agreement my mama, auntie Chandra and uncle Melvin are gone to the hospital to see Kenzo and all of my cousins are here.

We heard the patio door open we both looked at the door seeing my daddy and we both rolled our eyes.

"Hey KayKay."

"Uncle Aug."

"You mad at me too?"

"You know I am."

He sighed.

"Is there any one in this family that's not mad at me?"

"Nope you did auntie K dirty and I'm happy she's divorcing you she deserve so much better."

"Alright Kayden watch your mouth."

"Nah uncle Aug I'm speaking facts I'm not a little girl I'm 23 years old therefore I can say what I want to you destroyed my auntie bruh destroyed her you don't understand on how many nights me and Shanee had to stop auntie K from suicide."

"Why you didn't call or tell me Shanee."

"You never answered your phone you've neglected us you stopped caring about us."

"Shanee," my dad started but I stood up and shook my head.

I walked inside of the house going up to my room the guy who supposed to show me how a woman is to be treated correctly by a man actually showed me the wrong way can't even look up to my daddy anymore.

"You okay Shanee," Kayden asked as she walked in.

"Yeah I'm good."

"No you're not talk to me."

Kayden sat down on my bed and I sighed I started explaining how the way I feel about the entire situation. The last thing I need is for my mama to get depressed and she try to commit suicide again this time and be successful I lost my birth mama I can't lose her too.

After seeing Kenzo and spending time with him I had Melvin and Chandra to drop me off at my therapist office for my first session. I walked in the office behind my therapist I sat down she closed the door and walked over to the chair and sat across from me.

"What brings you to my office Kierra?"

"My husband cheated on me with multiple women and because of all of the stress I been through I ended up going into premature labor at 30 weeks and had my baby via cesarean which wasn't the plan umm I also attempted suicide several times and my daughter and niece have caught me and saved my life. I need help before I spiral out of control and end up killing myself leaving my babies behind."

"Do you know how long the affairs have been going on?"

"He was in a 4 year relationship with another woman until she broke things off with him and he started sleeping with other women."

"Were there any problems in your relationship."

"Dr. Moss from my understanding there wasn't I always catered to my husband always no matter how tired I was but I guess that it wasn't enough."

"How many children do you two have?"

"Now we have 6 kids total anytime we have date nights our family rotate with each other on getting the kids but for the past 4 years my husband haven't been showing up for date night the first two nights I figured he forgot but now I see that wasn't the case any time he sat up date night I didn't even get dressed because I know it was all bullshit."

"How long have you two been married?"

"It would've been 11 years but I filed for divorce so 10."

"You already filed for divorce?"

"Yes I'm walking away from my husband and marriage he neglected me and my children way too much I can't continue to put them through that so in 30 days my divorce will be final and I'll be Kierra Sherad again."

Dr. Moss nodded and wrote everything down.

"Okay so your sessions are going to be about you healing yourself and falling back in love with yourself again his infidelity has nothing to do you with and I know you think that it does but you just explained to me that even though you two have 5 kids together before you gave birth you still did your wifely duties even when you didn't feel like it."

"Right."

"Okay so before I end this session I just want you to know that I'm not a regular therapist I'm more hands on and I'm going to push you past your limits to help you get back to your old self."

"Okay I need this."

Dr. Moss ended the session and I walked out and paid the receptionist and got my next appointment. I called up Melvin telling him that I'm ready. I have a long way to go but I'm ready for it.

Once I was in the backseat Chandra had asked how did my first session and I told her how it went.

"I wasn't expecting you to open up so quickly K," Melvin spoke.

"Neither did I but I've been publicly humiliated and I'm done being silent it's time for me to speak up and speak my truth. A lot of people think that I knew about dumbass affairs but I didn't and it's a shame that I have to clear up my name over my soon to be ex husband stupidity."

"You talked to Sabrina," Chandra asked.

"I did and in 30 days y'all brother will be single again."

"That's not my brother right now," Melvin spoke.

"Facts."

I laughed and shook my head then I went silent again for the past 10 years I spent loving my husband and he started off loving me until he changed and started doing here so now it's time for me to heal myself and do me. Once I'm healed and back in love with myself Kierra will be back on the market for dating.
