Zuri
We rushed inside of the hospital and went straight to the front desk.
"Hi I'm here for Nate Watson."
"He's still in surgery the nurse will be out with an update please have a seat."
We walked over to the chairs and sat down.
I'm utterly confused about what happened with Nate he was sad when he left my house I hope he didn't wreck his car and tried to kill his self.
The double doors opened and a woman walked out of them and over to the front desk. I watched as they talked then the nurse behind the desk pointed at me and she nodded and walked over to us.
"Are you Zuri Alsina? I'm nurse Katie one of the nurses that's in the OR with Nate."
I stood up and so did Malani.
"Yes ma'am."
"As you know when you talked with the EMT Nate was in a bad car accident."
"Yeah the EMT didn't go into detail with me."
"Nate was slowing down because there was already a 3 car accident and the person that was behind Nate wasn't paying attention and hit Nate from behind which made them about of the accident."
Trying my best to keep it together.
"We're doing everything that we can in the operating room. Have you gotten in touch with his parents?"
"Yes they're about 20 minutes away now."
"Okay."
"He have sustained some injuries in his spinal cord the doctors are working to make sure he don't go paralyzed, his arm is broken as well as his left leg."
"Okay."
"I'll be back to update you all again soon."
"Thank you nurse Katie."
She nodded stood up and walked away we both sat back down. My phone dinged I looked down seeing that it was Anthony texting me I kept it short and brief with him as I waited on Nate's family to arrive. Nate will always be my best friend no matter what.
Once Nate family arrived I told them everything that nurse Katie said then we all sat and waited.
A few hours later nurse Katie came back out told us that the surgery was a success and that Nate is up and ready to see everyone. We all walked into his room he opened his eyes when we made eye contact he smiled a little. I stayed back while his family and mine walked over to him.
"Come here," Nate spoke.
I walked over to Nate's bed and grabebd his hand.
"You came."
"Of course I did you're my best friend and I was the last person you contacted and I just so happened to pick up the phone."
"Why you crying?"
I shrugged my shoulders not even realizing that I had started crying.
"This isn't your fault so don't even think like that yeah I'm hurt but I'm alive that's all that matters okay."
"Now give me a hug."
I carefully hugged Nate when we pulled apart we stared into each other eyes and I felt a spark I cleared my throat and broke eye contact. Malani looked at me and I knew that look we are going to have to talk about what just happened.
Back at the Alsina residence

Zuri walked into my room and I paused the movie I was watching cause I need to know what in the world did I just witness.
"Umm what was that earlier?"
"Honestly I don't know everything was fine when I went to go and hug Nate but when we pulled back and looked at each other in the eyes I felt a spark."
My eyes got wide.
"What?"
"Yeah."
"You love him."
"What no that's impossible I'm in a whole relationship with Anthony been that way for almost a year."
"How many times have you two told each other I love you?"
"A few but that's not the point."
"Did you mean it when you said it?"
Zuri was quiet.
"And that right there told me everything I need to know."
"What is that?"
"You're in love with Nate and scared to admit it and you got in a relationship with Anthony because he was interested and pursude you."
Again I was met with silence.
"Do Anthony pressure you into having sex?"
"No he knows that I'm not ready."
My phone dinged I looked down seeing that it was Luke. I opened the message.
"You might want to come and watch this big sis."
Zuri walked over to my bed she grabbed my phone and played the first video then she played the second one.
Zuri tossed my phone back on the bed and she stormed out of my room I grabbed my phone and put my slides on running right behind her. I gotta see this.
"Wait up Ri."
I ran down the stairs behind her.
"What's wrong," my daddy asked.
"Tell y'all when we get back."
I ran out the house making sure to close the door behind me I hopped in Zuri front seat and closed the door I put my seatbelt on.
"Get the address from Luke."
"Okay."
I messaged Luke back and he responded with the address I put it in Zuri gps and she sped off. I looked down next to my leg seeing our mama baseball bat. Ooouu she's about to do some damage.
An hour later we pulled up to the location Zuri grabbed the baseball bat and I got out. I hurriedly unlocked my phone and started recording as Zuri smashed Anthony's windows out of his car. The alarm went off and everyone came running outside.
"Yo Zuri-," Zuri swung on Anthony and he backed up.
"So being a relationship with me is a fucking joke to you?"
"No ba-," Zuri busted out his windshield.
"Ahttt wrong answer. You and your little friends betted on me to see when I would have sex with you and then you fucking around with Kinslee behind my back."
She smashed his rearview mirrors as well as his back window.
"We're over."
Zuri handed me the back then she walked over to Kinslee and punched her in the nose. Then got in her car I followed behind her along with Luke. Luke came to this party with Anthony just to watch his best friend to make sure he didnt do anything stupid which he ended up doing anyways.
