I opened my eyes to bright lights letting my eyes adjust to the light I realized that I was in the hospital. A nurse walked in and smiled at me.
"Glad to see that you're awoke Mr. Alsina."
"Where's my wife?"
"Do you remember what happened?"
I cleared my throat.
"Yeah we was in a car accident I'm surprised that I'm alive because of how the way that the car hit us."
The nurse nodded.
"You're absolutely right and your wife is in surgery."
"Is she okay?"
"I'm not sure honestly Mr. Alsina but I will find out for you."
"Do you know who done this did anyone see what happened?"
"Yes sir there was actually a couple witnesses who saw what happened the police tracked down the other driver and they're in custody as we speak."
"Okay."
The nurse checked my vitals I read her name tag.
"Nurse April can you bring my daughter Zuri Alsina to my room."
"Yes sir do you want her room changed?"
"Yes."
"Okay."
"Thanks."
"No problem."
She walked out of the room and I let out a sigh I know Kierra got the worst of it though because whoever was driving the other car was aiming for her like the wanted to kill her and I think I know who did it too.
A few minutes later nurse April walked in with Zuri then she walked out to go and get the doctor. I told Zuri everything that happened.
This is the second time somebody tried to kill my wife and this time it's on me because I wasn't being faithful to her and I couldn't keep my dick in my pants. Lord please don't take Kierra away from me I already lost her legally I can't lose her physically.
A doctor walked in.
"Hello Mr. Alsina I'm Dr. Bradley."
"Hello."
"Your wrist is broken and you have a few minor cuts and bruises other than that you're fine."
"Okay is there any update on my wife Kierra Alsina."
"She's still in surgery I'll have nurse April to get you that update."
"Okay thank you."
"You're welcome take it easy for the next couple weeks to get your wrist healed properly."
"Yes sir."
I finally looked down seeing the cast on my hand.
"Daddy are you okay?"
"Nah baby girl I'm not."
"Everything is going to be okay daddy."
"I doubt that it will Ri."
I called my mama then I called my mama Karen letting them know what happened. This shit is my fucking fault.
Few hours later

I woke up to bright lights and a horrible headache I let my eyes adjusted to the lights then I looked around. I frowned when I saw a man and a girl in hospital beds next to me.
"Hey mama."
"Who are you?"
"It's me mama Ri."
"Ri the doctor did say that your mama brain is swollen and she's suffering from short term memory loss."
