August
I bounced my leg up and down as we all waited on the doctor to come with an update on Kierra. There isn't a dry eye in sight besides me and I'm trying to hold it together for everyone else. Kenzo is in my mama arms knocked out sleep.

"Aug let me talk to you for a minute."

I stood up and followed behind my pops we walked outside and away from the entrance

"Wassup pops."

"Let it out son don't hold it in."

As soon as he said those words the tears fell down my face I bent down.

"FUCK," I screamed.

"I got you son."

I stood back up and my pops hugged me as I broke down.

I can't lose Kierra again we have been through enough and we're just getting back right.

"Aug," we looked seeing Melvin.

"Yeah."

"Doctor is asking for you."

I nodded I wiped my face.

"We got you bro you don't gotta be strong all the time."

"Got to for my kids there isn't a dry eye in that waiting room."

"I know and it's okay to cry."

I only nodded Melvin wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walked back inside.

"Mr. Alsina," the doctor spoke.

"Yeah."

"I'm Dr. Cooper."

We shook hands.

"It's a good thing that Kierra came in when she did."

"Why you say that Dr. Cooper?"

"She has a tumor on the left side of her brain and it started to swell and if she didn't get here any sooner it could've blew and  she could've died."

"I'm sorry a tumor?"

"Yes she didn't tell you."

"No."

Dr. Cooper sighed.

"Kierra has had this tumor for over a year when I first diagnosed her I told her to let you all know about it and from the look on y'all faces she didn't tell you all anything."

"No she didn't."

"I'm about to take her up to the operating room to operate right now."

"Okay do everything you can Dr. Cooper."

"I am."

She smiled at us and walked away.

"A tumor Aug," Chandra spoke.

"Yeah."

"Why she didn't say anything?"

"Maybe she didn't know how to tell us Aug I can only imagine what she was feeling when she got diagnosed."

"I could've handled it mama I'm her husband well I was husband at that time I could've handled it," I spoke as my voice cracked.
