I walked into the foyer and greeted Kierra with a kiss and hugged my girls.
"Hey daddy."
"Hey babies."
"Are you finished?"
"Yep just got finished."
"Finished with what?"
"Follow ya daddy."
Zuri and Malani looked at Kierra and she shrugged her shoulders. Since the girls left this morning I've been working on the guest rooms downstairs and turning them into their work room for their businesses.
"Alright first up is Zuri."
I opened the door and turned the light on and everyone followed behind me.
"What's this?"
"This sweetheart is your portfolio room where you can have all of your pictures in one spot and can organize it how ever you want to and if you get into acting you can shoot your casting videos here."
"But I don't have a camera."
"Yes you do."
I walked over to the desk and got the camera and passed it to Zuri.
"All of the equipment that you'll need is in the closet."
Zuri walked over to the closet and she opened it seeing the boxes that she'll need then she walked over and hugged me.
"Thank you daddy."
"You're welcome baby girl."
We walked out of the room I turned the light off and closed the door I locked it and handed Zuri the key. We walked to the next room and I turned on the light.
"My own sewing room?"
"Yes baby girl it is."
"Best daddy ever."
Malani gave me a hug.
"Thank you."
"Now that we done got that out the way we gotta go to New Orleans to handle something with your brother and sister so ya uncle and auntie will be coming over shortly and we'll be back in the morning."
"Is everything okay?"
"We're not for certain which is why we're going right now to see we'll keep y'all updated as much as possible."
"Yes sir."
We kissed the girls goodbye then I handed Malani her key then we walked out of the room and down the hallway and over to the front door. I opened the door and we saw Melvin and Chandra.
"Keep us updated."
"We will."
We hugged them then we walked towards the suv I helped Kierra in then I got in behind her once the door was closed the driver drove off towards the airport.
"You're quiet K what's on your mind?"
"My babies Aug I can only imagine how terrified they are from this situation and I hate that they went through that it's really irritating."
"It is and we're going to get to the bottom of things if not today then definitely tomorrow."
"Okay do we still have the house?"
"Yeah we do."
Kierra nodded her phone rung she looked down seeing that it was A'Shanee calling and she answered the call.
