The next day

Last night I reached out to my therapist and told her that I would be flying her out to Anguilla so that we can do our first session with her and she agreed so now we're waiting on her arrival. Also we checked in on the kids and our moms to see how they are doing. August walked over to me and sat down placing my feet in his lap and started rubbing them.
"After our session I think we should be one more day here then fly back to the states."
"You miss the kids don't you?"
"I do."
"I do too so I agree with you and what's this I'm hearing about you moving away from your family," I spoke as I looked at him.
"Did Ky or Shanee tell you?"
"Nope mama Sheila did."
"Well that was before you decided to give me another chance and we starting our session today now that we're working on us and getting back right I'm not going to move away."
Before I could respond there was a knock at the door and August got up to go get the door. Seconds later August and Dr. Morris walked I stood up and gave her a hug.
"Hey Dr. Morris nice to see you again."
"You too Kierra."
"Have a seat please," I spoke.
Dr. Morris sat down across from us.
"Okay so you two are finally ready to give your relationship another shot?"
"Yes," we both spoke.
"Alright what made you want to give August another shot Kierra?"
"Besides the fact that I still love him and he have a piece of my heart and without him I felt like a piece of me was missing, he has changed and has been doing everything like he was doing before the cheating plus I did date and none of them matched August or the energy he gave to me no one was on his level. I tried my best not to compare the guys to August but I couldn't help myself because he set the bar so high that none of them were even close to reaching it. Plus I had something that had happened to me a few days ago."
"And what happened if you don't mind me asking?"
August grabbed my hand.
"I was raped by one of the guys I was dating and after the date I told him that we were done dating and he didn't take it lightly the other guy who I was talking to was very understanding about my decision and wished me the best of luck."
"Are you comfortbale with revisiting that night with me."
"Yeah so a few nights ago Brian picked me up from the hotel and went to SunDial and had dinner once we arrived at the hotel I told him that we can longer see each other anymore and that he would find the right woman for me and that I wasn't her. I said goodbye wished him well got out of his car and made my way up to the hotel room to gather my things and head home. Neither guy knew where I was staying because I didn't want anything to happen to my kids and I was protecting them. He manipulated the guy at the desk and got my room key he came to the room and he bascially pushed up on me I turned him down and that made him made and he just started hitting me then procceeded to rape me. In that moment I felt helpless everything flashed in my mind and there was nothing that I could do I tried to break free of him and get him off of me but he held me down and threatned to kill me then find my family and kill them. Once he was finished he left and I called my brother in law and told him what happened him and my sister in law got to the hotel within 10 minutes and rushed me to the hospital."
"August how do you feel about what Kierra just said."
"I'm hurt and angry that he did her like that and he hurt her even though we're not married K is and will forever be family you hurt her or any of my kids or family you will have to deal with me no question about it."
Dr. Morris nodded at August answer I looked over at him and squinted my eyes and then it clicked that he flew back to the states and handled Brian without my knowledge.

Kierra looked over at me with squinted eyes and I looked back at her and smiled she shook her head.
"Don't you smile at me Anthony you went to back to the U.S. while I was here sleeping," she spoke.
"I did I knew that you were safe and out of harms way and I needed to go and handle Brian punk ass myself he had it coming you already know how I am about you K."
"Aug you could've ended up in jail."
"Baby he hurt you therefore he deserved what me, Mel and Trav did to him I know I was wrong and I know the consequences but what you don't understand is that I will go to prison behind you and my kids with no regards."
"But that's selfish thinking Aug."
"I know that it is but trust me baby I know what I am doing I'll never leave you or my kids ever again."
"Now let's talk about the relationship and how you two can start over again."
We both nodded.
"Kierra let's start with you."
"Okay."
"What is that you need from August that you didn't get the first time in your marriage."
"Trust, vunerability, honesty, respect and commitment."
"You don't trust August?"
"At first I did but when everything went down I lost all trust in him."
"August you understand why Kierra said that she need those things from you?"
"Yeah."
"Is there anything August that you need from Kierra that you didn't get the first time in your marriage?"
"And don't say there isn't anything because if it wasn't you wouldn't have cheated on me."
"You never gave me oral."
"Hold on you cheated on me because I never gave you head?"
"And you became so occupied with work that you forgot about me."
"That's because I sort of lost myself at Lani and I didn't know what I wanted to do anymore so for a while I didn't work and I finally found something that I want to do so I started taking classes so I can be certified and work with Cha who has been helping me."
Huh.
"Yes I am a certified esthetician I've been taking classes for months and I finally passed my board exam last week and will be graduating soon."
"Wow that's great K really it is I'm proud of you evem though I wasn't there for you during any of it."
"Thank you Aug I was just nervous about it all and I really had to focus and you never gave me a chance to explain what I was doing either."
"And for that I'm sorry."
"This was a great start for yall first session I'll see you two in two weeks."
"Yes."
I handed Dr. Morris the prewritten check then I lead her over to the door and let her out once she was in the truck I closed the door and made my way back into the living room.
