NEWT POV:

I finished packing some stuff. The government decided to move me to a different airport. It's a bit bigger and in a bigger city. The plane will have to be towed there because it can't fly so Thomas and I are boarding a plan with other people. I just have to pack some things to bring so I'm not bored. The bigger airport also has the tech to fix the airplane but chances are it will never fly again. Which is why I'm living in. I backed some snacks, books, simple crafts. I wonder if I can bring knitting needles on a plane. They are made of metal. They aren't sharp but I'm not sure. To be safe I will only bring one and leave the other two sizes in the plane. I looked at the sizes. Well, I think I will bring my size 8 needles. I could make socks. I grabbed some yarn. Only, I can't bring scissors. Maybe. I'll ask later. I also packed some other things. I finished and Thomas and I went threw the security to board the plane. I talked to the security and they said everything was okay.

They also had scissors that were approved. We made it to the bigger airport and had a few hours till the plane gets here. If you count eight hours as a few. Luckily we have our carry on bags. I walked with Thomas threw the airport. It is currently 10 at night or 22. Depending on how you tell time. Which means we will have to sleep. "Where do you think we should spend the night" asked Thomas. "I'm not sure. It depends on where we can place the air mattress. I am worried about someone stealing our stuff" I said. "It's okay Newt. I can watch it. I don't sleep anyway" said Thomas. We continued to talk about it. We also decided to not rent a hotel because then we would have to leave the airport. So it will be easier to stay here somewhere. We explored the airport to see what they all have. "I know one place we can set up camp" I said. "Where" asked Thomas. "The rainbow section. It's pretty and there is plenty of room" I said. "Great, it might also be romantic" said Thomas. I blushed. "Let's just go set up the mattress" I said.

We held hands and started heading to the rainbow section. We went down some stairs. We also got some food on the way. We set up the air mattress and filled it up with air. We placed it by the wall so it would be out of the way. "Did they say what gate the plane will arrive at tomorrow" I asked. "Group D" said Thomas. We laid down on the mattress and I held my oxygen box in my arms. People walked by us and went to their plane. "Another few months and we can finally go home" said Thomas. "I wish this testing didn't take so long. I thought it would of only been a few days" I said. "At least we get to stay here. It's bigger and there is more to do" said Thomas. "I guess. I'm going to miss the smaller airport. It was kinda nice how it closed and we were the only ones there" I said. We tried to stay quiet so no one would hear us. I snuggled onto Thomas' chest. "Those nights were fun. Like when we were allowed to make smores. Or how we would cuddle on the floor when it rained" said Thomas. "I guess we can still do that here. I just feel safer sleeping inside a building during a thunder storm" I said. "Good that but you should get some sleep for now" said Thomas. I closed my eyes and slept there. Thomas stayed with me all night and made sure no one stole our stuff.
