With Newtmas 2

NEWT POV: 

We were taken to be tested. I was given a few shots, had test done, and other stuff. I'm not sure what they are testing. "How are the new arrivals holding up" asked a women as she walked by. "So far so good. None of them seem to be gone or affected by the cat bots" said a man. "Glad to hear it" said the women. She walked up to Sonya. "You must be Sonya" said the women. "Ya" said Sonya. "Come with me please" said the women. The women left with Sonya. "Where is she taking Sonya" I asked. "She will be fine. They just have to run some test. If she is 100% human she will be returned to the human world" said the man. He scanned the back of my neck. The man looked at the screen. "Long way from Pierre" he said. "Ya, it was destroyed by the gone zombies" I said. "Did you come straight from there" asked the man. "No, I was actually in a bunker somewhere in Montana for a bit until I went to Oklahoma" I said. "Well, you are safe here" said the man. 

Thomas walked up to me and sat next to me. "I finished my testing and came to see you" said Thomas. "How is everyone else" I asked. "They should be okay. I'm not sure about Gally. He lost his brother and father" said Thomas. "I'm sure that is hard to deal with" I said. I finished my testing and we were later taken to our room. There is a curfew here and we have to stay in the refugee center. I laid in my bed. I was placed in a small empty room so I can sleep. It's actually just a hospital room. I laid awake staring at the wall. I can't sleep. Too much has happened and I am left to question everything. The gone zombies have a interest in me but I have no idea why. I rolled onto my back and looked at the ceiling. It's 10 at night. There was a knock on the door. I picked my head up. The knock came back. I got up and opened the door. "Hey" said Thomas. "You snuck out" I said. "You can't sleep and I can't stop worrying about you" said Thomas. "Come in" I said with a smile. 

Honestly I like Thomas being here. I closed the door. "I wish humans didn't have to sleep" said Thomas. "Well luckily I'm becoming a zombie. But I can't sleep tonight" I said. I sat on my bed. Thomas sat next to me. "Do you want to talk about it" asked Thomas as he sat next to me. "No, I would still be confused by everything" I said. Thomas laid me down and held me in his arms. "How about I just hold you for tonight" said Thomas. "Will you be here when I wake up" I asked. "Of course. I can even enter your dream to make sure you don't have a nightmare" said Thomas. "I'd love that. You're a great boyfriend Tommy" I said. Thomas smiled and kissed my forehead. "Now get some sleep. Okay" said Thomas. I closed my eyes and snuggled into Thomas' chest. Snuggling with Thomas makes me feel safe. I feel protected when he holds me. "Good night Newt" said Thomas. "Good night Tommy" I said. I fell asleep in his arms. I dreamed about being at the library with Thomas. He read some good stories to me and we had a expired milkshake as a snack. We woke up for breakfast call. Meals are scheduled here. That's Florida I guess.
