Undying Love part 26

THOMAS POV:

We made it and had a couple days till the ball drops. 

"Hey guys, I heard some of the zombies are biking to Hollywood to see the Hollywood sign" said Minho. 

"Wait really, how far is that" I asked. 

"Only a day and 18 hours. Plus how long you stop for" said Minho. 

"So, you want to go" I asked looking at Newt. 

"Isn't it illegal to go to the human world" asked Newt. 

"Only because we didn't have z bands. Now we can. Besides we will stay hidden and it's only the Hollywood sign. Plus the government agreed to it so it will be at night and they will shut the lights off so no one will see us. It will be closed and we have a hour at the sign" said Minho. 

"Okay, only because it might be my last chance to see the human world" said Newt. 

I smiled a little. Newt and I road to the sign with everyone else and made it. The national guard was there watching us. I took a picture with Newt in front of the sign. The zombies were also walking all over the sign. I took Newt's hand and we walked up the sign. We sat on top of the H and looked out among the world. 

"Wow" said Newt. 

"It's beautiful" I said. 

Newt rested his head on my shoulder. He took a picture of the view. I smiled and held Newt. 

"It really is peaceful here" I said. 

"Ya, I wish we could stay here forever" I said. 

"Some one is coming" said guard. 

We all hid behind the sign. 

"I saw weird flashing. Is everything okay" asked a man. 

He was with a women.

NEWT POV:

"Yes, it's just a technological difficulty. I wouldn't worry about it you two" said a guard. 

The women scoffed. 

"Don't you know who this is, this is Gally Sebastian. The famous actor, he deserves respect" said the women. 

I froze in shock. 

Gally, my cousin Gally. I guess he is no longer the little trouble maker he was. 

"It's fine babe, let's just go" said Gally annoyed. 

Brenda silently scoffed. 

"He can do better then that drunk whore" she whispered. 

"Good, because he is my cousin" I said. 

Everyone was surprised. I said nothing and watched them leave. Never thought Gally would be a actor. Once they were gone the guards said no more pictures which we were all okay with. I went back to sitting on the H. 

"So, that was your cousin" asked Thomas sitting next to me. 

"Ya, he was five when I last saw him. I knew he was a adult and I don't regret leaving the human world, I just. When I saw Gally it all came back that I'm still alive and he doesn't know. My own family can't know I'm a zombie and still alive" I said. 

Thomas hugged me. 

"Newt, maybe it's better he doesn't know. I mean think about how the world feels about zombies today. Gally might actually of hated you if he knew" said Thomas. 

I signed and closed my eyes. I hugged back. 

"I know, I guess I just miss my family. Well, not babysitting Gally. That was a bloody nightmare" I said laughing a little. 

"Any funny stories about him you want to share" asked Thomas. 

I thought for a bit. 

"Well, there is the time he took his clothes off and ran around the house naked. I had to chase him down and put his clothes back on" I said laughing. 

Thomas laughed a little two.
