Loving a Crank part 8

NEWT POV:

I held my shoulder in pain. 

"NEWT" Thomas yelled turning to me. 

The girl froze. 

"Thomas" she said lowering the gun. 

Thomas and I both looked at her. Thomas put his hood down. He looked at the girl. He was shocked but happy. 

"Teresa" said Thomas. 

They ran up to each other and hugged. They started talking after the hug. I think Teresa is Thomas GIRLFRIEND. 

"You look, different" said Thomas. 

"I got my hair cut" said Teresa. 

Her hair was a inch below her shoulders. I turned around and started leaving. If Thomas has a bloody girl friend who am I to stop them? 

"Give me a second" said Thomas. 

He started running up to me. Does he know I'm jealous? 

"Newt wait" said Thomas following me. 

"No, have fun with your girlfriend" I said a little annoyed. 

Thomas turned me to face him. 

"Newt, Teresa is my cousin and besides, I'm gay" said Thomas. 

I froze. So she isn't Thomas girlfriend which means I over reacted. 

"Sorry I thought she was" I said awkwardly. 

Teresa walked up to us. 

"Whose he" asked Teresa. 

Thomas put his hands down. 

"This is Newt. He took care of me when I sprained my ankle" said Thomas. 

I tried to do a friendly smile. Can I even look friendly to a human? I guess it's better then those zombie movies. Yes we did have that but we are different than those creatures. For one we die if we get stabbed or shot in the heart and we are actually smarter then them. 

"Are you still infected" asked Teresa nervously. 

Thomas and I were silent. Thomas signed. 

"Yes but I'm not gonna turn into a crank right now" said Thomas. 

There was a silence. Teresa hugged Thomas again. 

"I'm sorry I just thought I would never see you again" said Teresa.

THOMAS POV:

"Me two" I said hugging her. 

We broke the hug. 

"What are you doing here anyway" I asked. 

Teresa was silent. She swallowed. 

"They wanted me to come and find supplies and what exactly happened to you. I tried to tell them that you were infected like you said but they still wanted the supplies and, prof" said Teresa sadly. 

I signed annoyed. They are looking for me. 

"Come on, the stuff is back at the house" I said. 

We turned to leave and saw a crank (Janson). 

"Their, HUMAN" he yelled. 

I held Teresa behind me. 

"Janson" said Newt angrily. 

"You're hiding humans Newt" said the crank I assume is Janson. 

"Uh I'm actually turning into a crank" I said awkwardly. 

Janson walked up to us. He licked his lips. I punch Janson in the face and he fell on the ground. Janson sat up. He pointed at me. 

"You will be one of us and eat her" said Janson. 

I frowned. 

"Never, Teresa is my cousin. I could never do that" I said. 

Janson smiled a evil smile. 

"You will" he said. 

Janson stood up and left. 

"Come on, let's get Teresa to the house and Newt you need medical attention to your shoulder" I said. 

Newt nodded and we walked to Newt's house. There were no cranks to deal with thank God. I opened the door and we entered. 

"The stuff is over here" I said. 

We walked to the kitchen and I gave Teresa the bag. 

"Thomas where were you infected" asked Teresa nervously. 

"My shoulder" I said. 

"Oh good cause I need to take a picture" said Teresa. 

Teresa put the back pack on and I slipped my shirt and sweat shirt off. I noticed Newt blush and looked away. I blushed a little two. The black veins ran down my arm stopping at my hand. I turned around and Teresa took a picture on her phone.
