With Newtmas 2

Halloween Elf part 1

NEWT POV:

I was asleep at my station. 

"NEWT" Santa yelled. 

I bolted awake. 

"You fell asleep while making toys again" said Santa. 

"Sorry, I'll try to not let it happen again" I said. 

"Is this job too boring for you" asked Santa. 

"No" I lied. 

"Don't lie Newt. It's not nice. I think you should be moved to the workshop" said Santa. 

"Why" I asked. 

"Because it's more active there. I think you will like it better" said Santa. 

"I guess" I said. 

"Good, now I want you to move over there" said Santa. 

He left and I signed. I keep falling asleep while working. I don't really like building toys. I don't know why. It's very unelf like. I stood up and started packing up my stuff. I took it to my apartment. I live alone. I put my stuff on the table and had a piece of candy corn. I like them. I left and went back to work. I went to the workshop and Santa showed me around and what my job will be. Painting toy train cars. Great. I sat down and started working. I looked at the paint in front of me. There is nothing interesting. There are too many bloody colors. I looked at the other elves painting their train cars. I tried to get inspired. I can't think of anything. I looked back at my train car. I will just do something simple. Will the kids even notice or care about how decorative it is? They will only use it till like what, they are 13? I will just do a simple color to keep it simple. I tried to think of what would look good. I painted the car black. I added a few designs and moved the next car. I made the cars look the same. This is okay I guess and I like the design on the car. I still don't like the whole making toys. But I made them look awesome so I have that going for me. I made it threw more train cars. Maybe this could work. One of the train cars I painted earlier was placed in front of me. I stopped what I was doing and turned around to see Bob. 

"Newt, can you make them look less spooky" asked Bob. 

"It's not spooky" I said. 

Bob picked up the train car. 

"You made it look like a Halloween train. Is this suppose to be a joke" asked Bob. 

"Well what am I suppose to paint" I asked. 

Bob looked at me confused. 

"Paint them to look like the polar express. Just something less spooky. Do Christmas theme if you must" said Bob. 

He left and I went back to work. I rested my head on my hand and went back to painting. I listen to Bob and made them look like the polar express. It doesn't look as cool. After work I finally went home. I entered my apartment and closed the door. I like my apartment. I made it look Halloween like. I'm the only one who likes Halloween. I have never been to Halloween town though. I have only seen pictures. They live in the Bermuda triangle. The pictures of the town look amazing. I wish I could go, unless I can. No, I would never be allowed to. On every holiday we deliver or stuff to the other towns. I could ask if I could sign up. Then I could go to Halloween town and see if it's as awesome as the pictures. I will do that tomorrow. I made dinner and later went to bed.
