NEWT POV: 

I don't remember anything. I can't remember my name, life, age, or anything. I opened my eyes and saw I'm on a bed with a oxygen box. I stood up and left the room. I snuck out of the building. It was made from wood and looked old. This whole town looks like a old village. "HEY THE BOY IS AWAKE" some yelled. People started running up to me. I ran away from them. I kept running from the strangers. It became hard to breath even though I have a oxygen box. I fell and rolled onto my back. I was trying to catch my breath. The people ran up to me. "Put him in the pit till he calms down" said a voice. I was picked up. "NO, LET GO" I yelled. "Calm down boy" said the people carrying me. I was placed in the pit. The door was locked. I sat in the pit trying to think. I tried to remember everything. I just need something. "Hey" said a man. I looked up. "Are you calm down" asked the man. I said nothing. The man unlocked the door and sat outside the pit. 

"My name is Alby. Do you remember anything yet" asked the man. "No" I said. I started to cry. "It's okay, that's normal. That is what usually happens after being attacked by the cat bots" said Alby. "What are cat bots" I asked. "Ugly beast. But don't worry. You are safe here" said Alby. "Where am I" I asked. "The zombie town under Oklahoma City" said Alby. Something about that seems familiar. "That seems familiar but I can't remember why" I said. "You'll get your memory back soon. It might take a few days to all come back" said Alby. I looked at the floor. "Come on, we should have the medjacks look at you" said Alby. He helped me out of the pit and we went to the hospital. I was taken back to the room I woke up in. The medjacks ran a couple test. Just simple eye checks and stuff. "What were you doing in the woods" asked a doctor. "I don't know. I can't remember" I said. "Newt" said Thomas. How did I recognize that voice? I turned to look at the door and saw Thomas. Memories flashed in my mind. I remembered everything relating to Thomas. 

"Do you remember me" asked Thomas nervously. I ran up and hugged him. "Of course I do Tommy. You're my soulmate" I said. Thomas smiled and hugged back. "I was worried you forgot about me" said Thomas. I broke the hug but still held Thomas. "I did but then I saw you and it all came back to me" I said. "Your mold probably helped Newt remember you. However I bet that is all he remembers" said a doctor. "Ya, but i am just glad to remember Thomas" I said. Thomas kissed me. "I was so worried for you. I'm so glad you made it. The runners said you were attacked by cat bots and left in the maze" said Thomas. "I'm okay though. I think" I said. "Well, your leg was badly injured. It might have to be amputated" said a doctor. I was shocked. "Really" I asked. The doctor nodded. Thomas rubbed my back. "You'll be okay" said Thomas. "I still don't remember being attacked by the cat bots" I said. "Do you remember how we met" asked Thomas. "Ya, I also remember that one time I didn't feel well so you took me to sit by the waterfall in the airport. It helped me feel a little better" I said. Thomas smiled. "We have a few more test to run before we can let Newt go" said a doctor.
