I quickly climbed the tree. My leg was injured from the fire earlier. I was suppose to meet up with Thomas. But the others found me. "Get him" said a girl. Gally tried climbing up after me. They all looked at Ben. "As long as Newt is up there he is fine. Let's just leave him up there for now. He can come down when he wants" said Ben. The others thought about it. "Okay, in that case Gally and Harriet you are with me. Let's find some food. The rest of you start a fire and watch Newt. Make sure he stays there" said Alby. Everyone went on to do their task.

I sat on the branch and used the rope to tie me to the branch so I won't fall off. I miss Thomas. Where is he? I sat in the tree as the night went on. The group had people watch to make sure no one would find them. I'm not going to lie I am jealous they have food. I saw one of them cook a snake. Zombies don't have to cook meat. So I'm not sure why they are cooking it. That snake smells good. They are trying to lure me down with food. I wish Thomas was here. "Newt, you gonna come down" asked Gally. I ignored him. The snake was put on a arrow and sat at the tree. I am surprised. Are they feeding me? I took the arrow and removed it from the snack. I sniffed the snake. It smells good. Fuck it, I ate the snake and went to bed for the night. I was at a bakery. Someone hugged me from behind. I jumped and turned around to see Thomas. "Tommy" I said. I hugged him back. "You're dreaming Newt" said Thomas. I was then aware this was all fake.

I'm not very good at lucid dreaming because I'm able to loose myself but Thomas doesn't mind reminding me. We broke the hug. Thomas looked into my eyes. "Where are you" asked Thomas. "I don't know. I'm hiding in a tree but, I don't know where" I said. "Stay there, I'm going to find you" said Thomas. "Good that" I said. Thomas kissed my cheek. "Were you injured" he asked. "Ya, I broke my oxygen box and I got burned from the fire" I said. "I have a idea for something we can try" said Thomas. "What is it" I asked. "Zombies heal with sex from their soulmates but since you are human I don't know if I can heal you in the lucid world" said Thomas. "It's worth a shot" I said. The room changed to Thomas' bedroom.
