My Vampire Prince part12

THOMAS POV:

I closed my eyes and kissed Newt. I had him drink my blood so he will heal faster. I sat up and looked at Newt. He was asleep. I signed and got a piece of paper and a pencil. I wrote down everything that happened. I explained how I over reacted and Teresa told me how the death heart can lie to someone and make you think that they are your soulmate and that is why it smells. I told Newt that he will heal and that he will have neck pains for a few days. I left the note on his dresser and left. I feel like a shucking idiot. I made it back to the castle and found Teresa in the kitchen with snacks. 

"Hey Tom, where did you go" asked Teresa. 

"What the shuck Teresa? You told me the death heart was able to lie to me about my soulmate" I said angrily. 

Teresa was confused. 

"Do you mean the soulmate trick" asked Teresa. 

"What, no. I was talking about the death heart and you said that it lies to us about who are soulmates are" I said. 

"When, and that's not the death heart Tom. That is soulmate trick" said Teresa. 

"I was walking you to your room after you fainted on the floor" I said. 

"Oh, I just remember fainting and then waking up on my bed a few minutes ago" said Teresa. 

"Teresa, the shuck did you do at Minho's to become that exhausted" I asked. 

"Research, ate, slept, Minho, netflix, lots of hair products. Did you know they have a hair gel that dries right after you put it on and it helps you sleep. Which is the main reason I was tired" said Teresa.

NEWT POV:

Thomas picked me up. He placed me on the bed.

Thomas kissed me and I tasted his blood. Soulmates.

I opened my eyes. I sat up and was met with unbearable pain in my neck. I winced and laid down. I looked and saw a note. I grabbed it and read Thomas. The bloody shuck did he do? I opened the letter and started reading it. It explained how the death heart can lie to you about your soulmate and Thomas had to make sure I was his soulmate. Which I still am and Thomas is really sorry. I put the note down and slowly sat up. My head fell back and I yelped in pain. I laid back down. Janson entered. 

"What happened" he asked. 

"Thomas kinda broke my neck" I said. 

Janson signed. He put his hand behind my head and held it in place as I sat up. Janson got a neck brace that I can borrow. My next is healing but it's all floppy and I need something to hold my head up for two days. During dinner we explained to my mom how my neck was broken but it will heal. My mom also made a dish for her and one for me and my dad. 

"So, the cure is almost done" said my mom. 

"Good, but has it been tested" asked Janson. 

"Cure, what cure" I asked. 

"The hunters are making a cure to turn vampires into humans. Sadly it only works on vampires who were born human but it's still a work and progress" said mom. 

"That's a bloody stupid product. I mean if you want to go back to a human I understand but are you sure we should mess with the laws of physics? More importantly what if it gets and the wrong hands" I asked. 

"Like what, the vampires? It has no affect on anything but them. Besides vampires are monsters. Anyone who wants to be one has lost their humanity" said my mom.
