NEWT POV:

I shivered on the bed. Thomas entered the hospital and ran up to me. "Come on, let's put some warmer clothes on you first" said Thomas. I was wearing capreeze and a t-shirt when we first got here. I haven't really changed my clothes. I stood up and Thomas helped me change into pajama pants and a long sleeve shirt. I laid back down and covered up. Thomas found a few extra blankets and put them over me. "Why is it so bloody cold" I asked. "It's winter" said Thomas. "What, I thought it was summer" I said. "No, it's some weird thing when entering the zombie world. The poles are reversed. So when the human town is in summer we are in winter. But there is a blizzard outside" said Thomas. "Great" I said sarcastically. "What time is it" I asked. "Midnight" said Thomas. "I'm going back to sleep" I said. Thomas laid in bed under the covers with me. "I know you can't store body heat yet with mold but I can help you" said Thomas. "Thanks Tommy" I said. I gave him a peck on the lips.

I closed my eyes and cuddled with Thomas. He's so warm. When morning came Thomas took me to the town hall. Everyone was here. The blizzard was still going on outside. I sat with Thomas at a table. Everyone was waiting the blizzard out. It was like we were all homeless and staying in a shelter. "I'm going to help make breakfast and see what they have for human food" said Thomas. "Okay" I said. Thomas kissed my cheek and went to go help make breakfast. I grabbed a book from my bag and decided to read it. Once breakfast was ready everyone ate. My food was the only one not expired or raw. "Do you know how long the blizzard is suppose to last" I asked. "No, but it's worse outside the maze. We have giant walls to slow down the wind" said Thomas. "That's good I guess" I said. "How is the food" asked Thomas. "Okay, I've mostly been resting in bed since the seizure so I'm not as hungry" I said. Thomas grabbed my hand. He pricked my finger and licked it. "Your blood sugar levels are good" said Thomas. "Good that" I said. We continued eating.

No one really sat with Thomas and me. They might be worried I'll reach the gone. "I guess everyone still doesn't believe I'm immune" I said. "They don't have to, I'm just glad you are" said Thomas. "Which reminds me, what do you think happened to the gone that were in Florida? The bunker that Gally said he lived in. They shoved their fingers in my stomach and then licked my blood off their fingers" I said. "It's possible they were cured. I guess we will never know. Unless we go back" said Thomas. "I'm good, I'm done with having my stomach destroyed and being attacked by gones for the cure. If they were to bloody ask instead of attack me then I would say yes to curing them" I said. After breakfast Thomas checked my stomach and ankle. A gone bit my ankle as well. The injuries are healing pretty well. Thomas took the guaze off my leg. "It's just a scab now so we no longer need to wrap it up" said Thomas. "Good that, I'm also glad that no said to cut my other foot off" I said. "Would that work" asked Thomas. "No, it's just tv and movie Bullshit. If someone is infected they believe that chopping that limb off will save them but it actually won't. The blood moves pretty fast inside you so by the time you cut it off the virus would of already infected your entire body" I said.
