Undying Love part 9

NEWT POV:

"Wait so your number is different letters" I asked. 

"Yes, each zombie is assigned one. Which means I might have to turn you if you want one" said Thomas. 

Another flashing came. I blinked it off. 

"Why does that matter" I asked. 

"Because in order to get one you have to be marked in the government and as I said 13" said Thomas. 

"So, I will have to let the government know I'm here" I said. 

"Well yes, but we don't have to turn you right now" said Thomas. 

"And how do you know the government isn't going to kill us" I asked. 

"Well they will be mad but they won't kill you. This is America for crying out loud" said Thomas. 

"Fine, we can tell the government but I am a little nervous" I said. 

"Of course your arm will have to heal but you will be fine" said Thomas holding my good hand. 

I blushed a little. 

"Thanks Tommy" I said. 

Thomas blushed. 

"So much for not a date" said a voice. 

We both froze and saw a guy. 

"Who is he" asked the guy. 

"Minho this is Naris, Naris meet my best friend Minho" said Thomas. 

"Um hi" I said nervously. 

"So, you and Thomas are dating" said Minho. 

"Well no, we are just friends" I said. 

Minho crossed his arms. 

"Oh please, if we didn't have the flashing you shanks would be eating each other's faces right now" said Minho. 

"We don't even know if we are soulmates" said Thomas. 

"Then taste each other. Zombies can do that" said Minho. 

Thomas and I looked at each other. 

"Um" I said. 

"Well you or I could" Thomas started. 

"But, do we need" I started. 

"Oh my god shuck faces" said Minho annoyed. 

Minho held Thomas' hand to my face.

THOMAS POV:

"Here, just lick his skin" said Minho. 

I quickly grabbed Newt's hand and put his finger in my mouth. Soulmates. I blushed and quickly took it out. Newt got the message and we were both blushing. 

"See you two should date. Anyway Thomas why don't you invite your boyfriend to the new pool that just opened today" said Minho. 

"Pool" asked Newt. 

"You didn't hear" said Minho. 

"The government finally built a pool in each zombie town. They found a way to have the flashing work with the pool so we can swim" I said. 

Newt blushed. 

"One issue, I don't have any pool stuff" said Newt. 

"No one does, they are selling it at the pool. Everyone get's one free swim wear and you have to buy the pool toys" said Minho. 

"Okay but first we need to pay for this meal" said Newt. 

He looked at me nervously. 

"Don't worry, I can cover your part of the meal" I said. 

I grabbed my wallet and paid. We got up and left. We started walking to the pool. 

"They also have swimming classes since a lot of us can't swim" said Minho. 

Newt looked nervous as we walked. I think Minho noticed as well so he kept going on about how there is no possible way we can drown since there are life guards there and life jackets if you are willing to wear one. However I can't think of what Newt is worried about. I mean unless make up washes out easi, klunk. We made it to the pool and we got our swim suits. There was bathrooms so we can change. I went to the bathroom with Newt. He was shaking. 

"Newt can you relax" I asked. 

"I can't swim Tommy, if I get wet the water will wash away the make up" said Newt.
