Undying Love part 13

NEWT POV:

I laid down on the couch for the rest of the day. I got board of the news and went on entertainment. I decided to watch the walking dead. I still like the series. I am glad to not be like those brain dead zombies though. Thomas came back when he finished work. 

"Hey Newt, you feel okay" asked Thomas putting his hand on my forehead. 

"Ya, I feel a little better" I said. 

Thomas removed his hand. 

"Good, did you eat anything" asked Thomas. 

"Yes, I had some alligator meat but can a zombie eat moldy fruit" I asked. 

"Ya, I have some in the fridge" said Thomas. 

"Oh, I guess the blue berries were okay to eat" I said. 

"Which is good for us. Fruit molds fast" said Thomas. 

I sat up and Thomas sat next to me. He held me in his arms. 

"So, how was work today" I asked as I rested my head on Thomas' shoulder. 

"It was okay, however we will have to tell the government" said Thomas. 

"Ya, I was just on the news but later. I kinda want to see the pool" I said. 

"But your arm" said Thomas. 

"I'll be fine Tommy. I just can't move it that much but I can still get my arm wet. It's not a bloody cast" I said. 

"Okay, but I will help you change but are you still throwing up from the flashing" asked Thomas. 

"No, I think that part is over thankfully. I mean I still feel a little weak but I won't be doing that much swimming anyway" I said. 

"Okay" said Thomas. 

He kissed my head. 

"Let's go change" said Thomas. 

We got up and went to the bathroom.

THOMAS POV:

Since I helped Newt change I got to see him naked. Which was not my main intentions. Newt closed his eyes when I changed. We finished and I held Newt's chin up so I can see his neck. The bite mark was gone. 

"Good news is the bite is gone" I said letting go of Newt's chin. 

Newt looked at me. 

"I'm still reminding myself we don't need sunscreen" said Newt. 

"Good thing we can't get burned where there is no sun" I said. 

I grabbed Newt's hand and we left. We walked to the pool. Newt was actually excited. When we got to the pool we saw it was a lot less crowded today. There was water slides, a hot tub, lazy river which we are so going on, a few regular pools with water toys, a small restaurant, a surfing type thing, a kid pool, and other stuff. The wall above us was a screen with a blue sky, the sun, and a few clouds moving in the wind. 

"Wow" said Newt as we looked around. 

We put our stuff in a locker so no one will steal it and started to explore the pool. 

"Where should we go first" asked Newt. 

"Well, what can you all do" I asked. 

"We can start with the lazy river and then go on some water slides but how long till my arm heals" asked Newt. 

"12 to 16 weeks" I said. 

"I meant human years Tommy" said Newt. 

I thought for a bit as we walked. 

"24 to 32 years" I said. 

"Wow, my class will be married with kids by that time" said Newt. 

"Well we could of waited if you wanted" I said nervously. 

"No I'm fine really. It will probably feel like 12 to 16 weeks anyway" said Newt. 

"So you are really okay Newt" I asked. 

"Perfect" said Newt. 

He closed his eyes and kissed my cheek.
