With Newtmas 2

Chased part 2

NEWT POV:

"NO" I yelled bolting up. 

I relaxed as I realized it was just a bloody nightmare. I took a deep breath. I got up and went to the kitchen to have breakfast. My aunt was making pancakes. 

"Morning" she said smiling at me. 

"Morning" I said tiredly. 

I sat down at the table and yawned. 

"Hey um so when do I start school" I asked. 

My Aunt looked at me surprised. 

"Well I guess you can today although you will miss most of the morning classes but if you're ready it's fine. I just don't want you to rush into anything. You can take a week or two to adjust" said my aunt. 

"Really I'm fine. Besides the sooner I start the less I have to make up" I said. 

I mostly care about forgetting all about Thomas and the whole deal. As if he can bloody find me. My Aunt agreed to let me go to school and she gave me a ride. I was registered and sent to third period. I put everything in my locker and got what I needed for history. I entered the class and everyone looked at me. 

"Okay class meet our new student Newt Sebastian" said the teacher. 

"Hi" I said. 

I looked at where to sit. I noticed some people whispering. They were all wearing black and dark colors. There was the guy I met yesterday. Kinda anyway, a girl (Teresa), and another guy (Ben). The girl pointed at me and they continued whispering. I swallowed. Do they work for Thomas? 

"Newt you can sit next to me" a boy yelled. 

I looked and saw a boy (Minho) a fair distance away the group of people. I signed in relief and sat down. 

"I'm Minho" said the boy. 

"Newt, but I guess every one already knows" I said. 

"So does Teresa ever mention me" asked Minho nervously. 

I was confused. 

"Teresa said that you, Ben, Gally, Thomas, and her were all friends" said Minho a little nervous. 

"Is that Teresa over there" I asked pointing to the girl. 

"Yes" said Minho a little suspicious. 

"Oh wow, I didn't even bloody recognize her. We haven't talked a lot since middle school" I lied. 

Minho bought it. I figured I'll make up some lie instead of explain everything to Minho. He doesn't need to know. However this mean Thomas is a bloody cheater. He said I would have FIVE bloody days as a head start and that he would find me not his pawns. Or maybe they are friends. For the rest of the day Minho showed me around and we became best friends. I also found out he doesn't have his soulmate's name on his chest either but he is straight. So he is not my soul mate but we both understand the struggle and wish to know why. I did also manage to talk with Teresa and her friends during lunch. I asked them about Thomas and they were honest. They are keeping Thomas up to date and since the only rule we made was Thomas showing up after five days this isn't cheating. But how many predators have their friends hunt down their prey for them? None I would say. I told them that they can tell Thomas to either give up or I can set up my own trap. However Teresa is going on a date with Minho. I just went home and did home work. After that painful hour I finished my room and made dinner. Which was just some microwaved left over pasta. I lastly set my alarm and went to bed.
