With Newtmas 2

Two Glades part 1

THOMAS POV:

I was running the maze like always. I guess it's nice to have the grievers protect us. I was alone doing my section of the maze. A griever started moving funny. Almost as if something was wrong. The griever stopped facing the sky. It put its head down and looked at me. I was confused. The gave a evil smile. 

"GUYS" I yelled hoping to find the runners. 

The griever ran up to me and started to attack me. I screamed and tried to run. The picked me up and smacked me on the ground. I blacked up. I woke up at sunset with a headache, broken bones, a dislocated shoulder, bruises, and cuts. I weakly yelled as I sat up. I need to get back to the glade. I yelped again as I started to crawl. I probably won't make it back to the glade. I made it back to the regular maze part. It's already getting dark. I cut some vines and laid them in a pile. I grabbed two rocks and tried to start a fire. It was how I cooked everything before the others came up. The fire started and I relaxed. I have a fire and I will be okay. I grabbed my sack lunch and opened it. I missed lunch thanks to that stupid griever. I started eating and had to keep adding more vines. I couldn't eat much since it was spoiled. Luckily I found a snake and cut its head off so I cooked that up. I finished cooking the snake when I heard a voice. 

"Who the shuck are you" asked the voice. 

I jumped and turned to see a boy. Too much hairgel. He had a friend. 

"Where did you two come from" I asked. 

"What happened to you" asked the boy. 

"A griever attacked me so I couldn't make it back to the glade in time" I said. 

"Impossible. I was the fourth to come up in the box. I know every glader. Plus I'm keeper of the runners and I never made you a runner" said the first guy. 

I was confused by this. 

"No, I'm keeper of the runners. I was the first to come up. How did you guys even get in here" I asked. 

"The doors opening and I didn't vote for you" said the second boy. 

"What" I asked. 

The two looked at each other. 

"Maybe WCKD gave us a human for a change. Let's take him back to the glade" said the first guy. 

"The doors are closed" I said. 

"What are you talking about" asked the second guy. 

"The doors close every night" I said. 

"Let's just grab this shank. We can question him later" said the first boy. 

They started walking up to me. 

"DON'T TOUCH ME" I yelled. 

The two ignored me and picked me up. I tried to squirm but hurt so I decided to let them take me. At least they let me take the snake I cooked. I just ate that as they carried me. As we got farther away from the fire it became harder to see. I couldn't see anything once we were far enough. It was pitch black. I assume we left the maze because it sounded like the two boys were walking on grass. I still couldn't see. 

"I'll go find Alby. You take this shuck face to the hospital" said the first guy. 

"Okay, I'm not sure a human can live here" said the second guy. 

"Just don't let Gally find out" said the first guy. 

"Too late. I'm sure the whole glade can smell him" said the second guy.
