Undying Love part 11

NEWT POV:

I felt different. I slowly opened my eyes.

"Hey, you feel okay" said Thomas.

"Ya, I feel a little dizzy" I said weakly.

"It will wear off soon. Just don't run around" said Thomas.

"I'm not sure I can bloody stand right now" I said weakly.

"Come on, trust me you are going to hate your first flashings" said Thomas helping me up.

"Why" I asked.

Thomas stood me up and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Well, you will find out in five minutes. Let's just get you to the bathroom" said Thomas.

We walked to the bathroom and Thomas sat me down by the toilet. Thomas had me lean over the toilet and wait for the flashing. The flashing came. It wasn't blinding like I remember but something else bugged me. I threw up in the toilet.

"You'll be better tomorrow Newt. The first couple flashings are the worst" said Thomas.

I threw up again.

"Good, but I'm not sitting here all day" I said.

I finished vomiting and relaxed in Thomas' arms.

"You can rest on the couch today but I have to go to work. I'll be back at night" said Thomas.

"What time do you have to leave" I asked weakly.

"In a hour. I'm not leaving until I know you will be okay by yourself" said Thomas.

He helped me to my feet and I weakly walked to the couch. I laid down and Thomas left the trash can by my side.

"Why do I throw up" I asked.

"Your body isn't use to the flashing. It's mostly your body is in shock I guess and just makes you hurl. Every one was like this when the flashing first started but it wore off" said Thomas.

THOMAS POV:

"Good, I just want to rest right now" said Newt.

"Well you have all day so just sleep. Also if you get hungry zombies can eat raw meat. Trust me food will taste different at first" I said.

Newt smiled and closed his eyes.

"Thank you Tommy" said Newt.

I kissed his forehead.

"Your welcome Newt" I said.

I covered Newt up and made sure he was comfy. I then got ready for work and said one final good bye to Newt. I told Newt how the tv only has news, weather, and entertainment. Entertainment is pretty much Netflix, Hulu, ect. Just with every movie and tv show available on it. We watch human shows we just can't interact with people. So all we can do is watch movies and shows. Which yes we watch more then zombie stuff. I left and started heading to work. I decided to take my bike because it's faster. We have separate lanes for rides and walking. Walking and running is one lane and bikes, skate board, scooters, ect are another lane. The lanes are also the same as a lane in the human world so we don't crash. Except walking. That is just a sidewalk. I made it to work and started doing my job. Minho and I both work at Zyvee.

"Hey, how is Newt, is he feeling better" asked Minho as we worked.

Which was just stocking shelves.

"Ya, he feels a little better but he still won't be out today" I said.

"Oh, well the pool was awesome and it's great they finally added one but it was shucking crowded and no one knew how to swim. Other then that it was great" said Minho.

I couldn't help but do a small laugh. Who knew that the new pool would lead to a human becoming a zombie.
