NEWT POV: AGE 9

I burst into the court room and ran straight into Thomas' arms. I cried as Thomas held me. "Newt, it's okay" said Thomas. "I don't want you to executed" I said as I cried. "That isn't going to happen Newt. Thomas is nowhere near the death penalty" said the judge. Thomas rubbed my back as he held me. "It's going to be okay Newt. If anything I'll just be put in jail. I'm not going to die. Not till we are both old. I promise" said Thomas. I nodded and Thomas wiped my eyes. I hugged Thomas and closed my eyes as the meeting went on. I didn't listen to most of it. In short they found Thomas. Thomas wants to have the ability to be in my life but he did kidnap me as a baby. And broke his z band. I napped in Thomas' arms. He laid me on the bench. "DON'T, touch him" Thomas spat to the criminals he was sitting with. "Dude, I'm a car thief. Not some child rapist. I don't even like kids" said one. "Good" said Thomas. 

He took my coat off and laid it over me like a blanket. Thomas walked up to the stand. "Thomas why were you with Newt" asked the judge. "Newt is my soulmate. I want to be in his life. I don't plan to turn him into a zombie yet but I would like to when he is 16" said Thomas. "But you kidnapped Newt" said the judge. "I was worried I would never see him again. I lost Newt once. I don't know if he is the same Newt from my past but I know that Newt is my soulmate. It's possible Newt was reborn" said Thomas. "That doesn't give you the right to kidnap Newt. However there is a way to test if what you say is true" said the judge. "What is it" asked Thomas. A cop shook my shoulder. I sat up and the cop held my hand. He cut my finger. "OW" I yelped. Thomas snapped his head in our direction. "WHAT THE HELL" he screamed. A few cops held Thomas back. "Calm down. If Newt is your soulmate like you claim then you should help heal him reguardless of age and species" said a cop. Thomas took a deep breath and calmed down. 

The cops let Thomas walk up to me. Thomas frowned at the cop that cut me as he walked to me. Thomas got on his knees and held my hand. A cop watched. "Are you okay" asked Thomas. "Ya" I said. Thomas licked my finger. I watched as the mold formed over the cut to act like a band aid. "Their soulmates" said cop. "THAT'S A LIE" My dad yelled. "CALM DOWN" the judge yelled. The room was silent. "Thomas and Newt are soulmates. Otherwise Thomas' mold would be healing Newt. I understand he is your son but the universe wants what it wants. Right now Newt and Thomas can't be a couple. When Newt is 16 it will be his choice if he stays with Thomas or not. However the soulmate bond is unbreakable. So like it or not your son is destined to end up with a zombie. There is nothing I can do about that. However Thomas if you wish to be with Newt you will have to pay off your prison debt. You have seven years in prison. In good favor I will allow you to see Newt for holidays and when he flies to switch between parents" said the judge. "NO, NEWT IS MY SON" my dad yelled. "Thomas will only be allowed to see Newt for three hours those days IF he behaves while in prison and wears a z band. A cop will also be watching Thomas" said the judge. "Fine, but I'm going to hate every minute of being with that beast" said my dad.
