Two Glades part 3

THOMAS POV:

"Go away" I said. 

The boy sat down and hugged me. 

"It's okay Tommy" said Newt. 

I looked at Newt and hugged him as I cried. 

"I tried Newt" I said. Newt rubbed my back. 

"I know Tommy. It's okay" said Newt. 

We sat there hugging. I closed my eyes as I sat with Newt. I love him but the glade hates gays. Any one who is gay is killed in the worse way. It's too painful to think about. 

"Tommy, can I ask you something" asked Newt. 

I opened my eyes and looked at Newt. 

"What is it" I asked. 

Newt turned into a zombie. 

"Do you still love me" asked Newt. 

"Yes, I will always love you" I said. 

Newt held me against his chest and put his head on mine. 

"Would you ever consider getting zombie eyes" asked Newt. 

"Maybe, I'm just scared" I said. 

Newt kissed my head. 

"I know Tommy. It's okay to be scared but I want you to see me. I know that is a bloody selfish excuse but I love you. I promise I will be there with you" said Newt. 

"I just want you" I said. 

"I know, but I'm a zombie. Would you ever join me" asked Newt. 

"Ya, I'm just not sure if it's the right thing to do. What if you aren't the one for me" I asked. 

Newt looked into my eyes. 

"I promise you Tommy. We are soulmates and I'll love you forever" said Newt. 

"Do you promise to be there when I get zombie eyes" I asked. 

"Ya, I want to be the first thing you see" said Newt. 

He closed his eyes and kissed my lips. The kiss was perfect. 

I bolted awake to someone holding my eye open. I shoved the person and screamed. People entered and I calmed down but squeezed my eyes shut. 

"Gally what are you bloody doing" asked Newt. 

"This boy can't be blind. What happened to the no free loaders rule" asked Gally crossing his arms. 

"I said it was up to Thomas. He get to decide. You just need to accept that he is human" said Alby. 

"Even if he was a zombie he can't work. He can barely sit up with out moaning and groaning" said Clint. 

"Fine, but just know it's what WCKD wants" said Gally. 

He took a note out of his pocket and shoved it into Newt's chest as he left. Newt took the letter and read it. 

"WCKD says that if we want Thomas to stay here then he will eventually have to become a zombie. We should probably wait till after he is healed though so he will turn probably" said Newt. 

"They must of had a griever give Gally the letter" said Jeff. 

"It doesn't matter. Thomas doesn't want to right now so we won't do it" said Alby. 

"I uh, actually kinda changed my mind. I want to get zombie eyes but I'm kinda scared" I said. 

"It will be okay Tommy" said Newt. 

He walked up to me held my hand. 

"Are you sure about this" asked Jeff. 

"Ya, it's not like I have much to go back to anyway. My glade hates gay people" I said. 

"What a bunch of perverts" said Minho. 

"What" I asked. 

"We are all gay. I don't think any of us are straight. WCKD seems to only send up gay zombie boys. Which makes sense because there are no girls" said Minho. 

"Do you want your eyes open or closed" asked Newt. 

I was held down by a few other boys. 

"Does it matter" I asked.
