Were okay now.

I pick at my nails as the train slows to a stop remus slips his hand into mine tutting when he sees how beat up my hands are "you hate when your hands aren't soft then do this" he rubbed small circles on my hand but I quickly dropped it when we stepped into the muggle world he tried to pick it back up "you know the muggle world is worse, I'll hold your hand in the car" Remus sighed and nodded giving up. I followed Remus' eyes to a couple, the man,his father, looked so scary i almost started crying, the women,his mother a tiny women about 5'3 with a soft smile. Remus tugged me along and hugged his mother before wrapping a arm around my waist "stop trying to scare him,dad." His dad glared at me one last time but dropped his shoulders and smiled "I'm lyall" he hugged me and I didn't realize until then that good hugs must run in the family. "Okay boys,let's get going" hope smiled and lead us to the car. I was honestly scared. I have never been in a muggle car Remus gripped my hand reassuringly and sat down next to me in the car. Lyall smiled at me and started the car but not before "you look like your gonna be sick,kid. You can sit next to remus,he really makes people feel better" i smiled and scooted closer to remus butting myself in his side. I guess he could tell that I was still scared so he whispered to me "it's not gonna hurt you siri" he rubbed my side and I nodded softly. We finally reached the house, it was a small cottage, it was warm ansind welcoming,like home. Remus lead me to his room. There was a small wooden desk with a clunky typewriter on top,he had bookshelves lined with books and a mirror seemingly charmed with vines, there was a tiny window above it to let sun it and it was covered in mesh curtains, he had a big bed against the wall that had soft brown silk sheets neatly layed across them, his walls were painted a dark green and there was a wall full of photos. Some were from magazines, some were Polaroids, most of them of me.
"Remus your room is so pretty" Remus wrapped his arm around my waist and lead me to his bed dropping me down, he layed down next to me with a smile "we have to have dinner soon,but let's take a nap,please?" I nodded and pulled my shirt off then layed the sheets over us and snuggled into his Side"Sirius..Sirius...wake up" lyall was standing over us with a soft smile. I sat up and looked to Remus who was still out like a light "just wake him up for me,will you?" I nodded and muttered "sleepy git"
Drawing a laugh from lyall as soon as he left I turned to remus "I know you're not asleep." He opened one eye "how." Every time we sleep together your head always winds up on my chest" Remus smiled and moved his head to my chest "better?"
"Much."
I played with his hair for a few minutes bending down to kiss him a few times "okay. Okay wake up it's dinner" Remus groaned but got up throwing a shirt at me. I slipped it over my chest and went over to remus wrapping my arms around his waist and following him down the stairs, his parents were sitting at the table waiting for us "sorry mom, I didn't want to get up" she smiled and we sat down at the table together. "I'm suprised you got him up, he sleeps so soundly" i smiled "i just know how to...convince him" Remus set down his cup "he plays with my hair so I listen to him" I looked down at my plate and laughed. Hope and lyall laughed too while Remus just smiled fondly at me "boys, how's school been?" Remus spoke first "well good, holidays have been tough for Sirius, trying to figure out where to stay,wound up with James" hope gave a pity smile "you can stay anytime you want,dear you're part of the family now" i smiled "that actually means a lot,thank you." Remus held my hand and we finshed up dinner, Remus and I decided we would clean the table and dishes just to be nice. Hope and lyall were in there bedroom "this was really nice,Remus. Thank you." I wrapped my arms around his waist and kissed him "je t'aime" Remus smiled and leaned down kissing my neck. I pulled away and spelled the dishes clean quickly dragging Remus back to his room so we could read, it was late and Remus always read before bed. He dropped me on his bed breaking the kiss to speak "I have more books here,I can finally read you that poetry book I've been wanting to" i smiled and crawled under the blankets waiting for Remus to Crawl in. Remus layed down and opened the book, his voice subconsciously deepening. It was barely ten minutes before my eyes were heavy "no no, you are not sleeping in jeans, come on,up" I got up and stool there waiting for him to undress me he groaned and rolled over fiddling with my belt but then the door opened and his mother yelped "shush,mom it's nothing like that. He's just too lazy to take his pants off" I laughed and slipped back into his bed and hope walked over with a stack of clothes and layed it on his dresser "goodnight boys, sleep well" we smiled and said our goodnights and I wrapped my arms around Remus' waist and burried my neck into his shoulder and my legs tangled in his long lanky ones.
-next morning,Remus pov-
"BOYS! WAKE UP!" I heard mom screaming and Sirius groaning "she sounds just like James" i smiled and pulled Sirius closer by the waist kissing his neck "we need breakfast, come on" Sirius pulled away and looked at my face "you are amazing" and pulled me off the bed with him and anto my feet "can't we just stay here all day. Alone" I smiled and dragged my hands over his torso "in here?yes, alone? No. Breakfast in bed is very possible in this family" I could see Sirius contemplating for a few seconds "sounds fun,actually. I like your dad" I smiled and let go of Remus to bring mom and dad up
I went down stairs and picked up two plates and gestured to the other two "Sirius wants to stay in bed, come on, breakfast in my room" they smiled and followed. I opened the door and Sirius was Sitting on the bed drinking water from the night before "mhm food" I set down the plate on his lap and sat down next to him. Mom and dad sat down at my desk "so how did you guys sleep" I thought for a minute "well I put socks on Sirius during the night Because he kept scratching me"
Sirius laughed and kicked me. "Besides that, pretty good"
After breakfast Sirius and I decided to go for a walk, sometimes it's just nice to be alone sometimes "how's James?" Sirius held my hand "he's okay,misses me" I smiled and kissed him "i miss you" "I'm right here darling" I blushed and hugged him "I missed us." Sirius burried his head in my chest "me too. I had to leave reg, and it was scary. He kept telling me to tell James he's sorry. I didn't tell James. I think a worse heartbreak is knowing they didn't want it to happen" I rubbed his back "I'm sorry."
"No it's okay. I'll be okay. Reg said he just needed more time. He never lies. He knows I'm here right now, if he needs me he's gonna find us" I rubbed his back and kissed his head "let's go back" the walk back was silent. He was thinking,a lot. I left in him in my room to talk to mom
"I need to go to Sirius house. I need to get his brother. I can't let them hurt him. And James, James is so hurt by all of this and I can't see my friends like this anymore."
Let's just say mother was not fond of the idea,but i don't care. I told Sirius and gave him a blanket and food so he wouldn't be scared home alone with my parents and i quickly left.
-reg pov-
I steadied my breath as I got back to my room. Everything was worse after Siri left.
I covered my head in pillows so they wouldn't hear me crying but then I heard a scream
"YOU FILTHY HALFBREED!"
"TELL ME WHERE HE IS"
I didn't know who it was and honestly I was scared shitless. I quickly grabbed my wand and locked my door
"TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK HE IS" I heard more screams then it went silent and there were heavy boots on the steps, they stopped in front of my door and cast an unlocking spell and shoved open my door. "Reg? Reg!" My heart beat out of my chest and I opened the door and sprung into his arms "Remus-oh Remus it's terrible" he held my and rubbed my back "it's okay, you're gonna be okay, I'm gonna get you out. Just act like I'm taking you captive or something, pretend I'm the bad guy" I nodded and he wrapped his arm around my neck and had his wand pointed at me with his other as we walked down the stairs. He turned to my parents "you're not gonna say shit or you both will be dead" once outside he let me go and I rubbed my neck "Merlin,lupin,You have a strong grip" I laughed "sorry,baby black" reg glared up at me but ultimately smiled
"Okay, let's get back to my house"
-Remus pov-"
I took reg and aparated back to my house where James and Sirius sat outside, they both got up and Sirius hugged him tightly "reg...I missed you.." they pulled away and reg turned to James "hi..." James didn't say anything and stepped towards James "I'm sorry-"
"Oh shut up, come here" reg jumped into James arms and kissed him. They pulled away and looked at eachother "I missed you" James nodded and held him closer
"It's okay. We're okay now."
